The lawsuit specifically threaten if there is no movie in theaters by 2013 then they pull Superman from DC. The syndication deal isn't part of the issue because they are already getting revenue from it. The families are suing for cash despite the hype.

Mike, that's Roxanne Pallet in your sig not Camilla Belle :wink1:

:lol I changed my mind last night and forgot to change whom I was inside. Thanks! Fixed :hi5:

the DX Indiana Jones doesnt look good. Its a shame the same guy is doing Superman's sculpt. Come on HT! I dont want to stop buying your figures.

Probably Arnie Kim had problems with looks, i guess he is only talented for doing Bruce Lee and thats that! I guess if they give the sculpt to Yulli or Kojun then Arnie reputation will go into the toilet right?.......I am really disappointed Hot Toys!!!

It does suprise me sometimes when a company like the juggernaut Hot Toys has become, sometimes knocks out subpar sculpts like Indy. I mean, they have the most talented sculptors out there with the biggest licenses u can get, with massive fan expectation yet we get representations of the actors stunt doubles instead....
Hope they're not starting to take things for granted.

Yeah I agree, there have been some very disappointing proto pics of late. Hopefully those will be fixed and brought up to our expectations.

Flynn(tron legacy): awful proto sculpt, Indy : awful proto sculpt, predator: problems with actual release, Prince of Persia: awful sculpt, to name but a few. I was also personally dissapoited with Clash and MJ bad sculpts. Nice sculpts but not close enough to their subjects.

I know i have listed just the bad ones, there have been some great released too, but that fact in itself shows they are capable of doing amazing stuff, I would rather slower release dates and better quality. If that helps them get it right.

Maybe HT will re-consider the release schedule and put the CR Superman out closer to the Nolan film. That way they can take advantage of the hype machine.

What Nolan film? The Man of Steel?

Frankly i'd think HT is best served to put Reeve out as soon as possible, so by the time the Nolan/Snyder Superman comes around, there has been some time between the Reeve Superman and the new movie figures

I admit I'm more exited by the Nolan's involvement in MOS than Snyder's. I tend to think of it as a Nolan film for this reason.

Well, then you'd be wrong... because it will be 100% Snyder's film once the script is locked.

Some directors operate autonomously, and some directors operated as an extension of the producer's will (Richard Marquand on ROTJ). The reality is usually somewhere in the middle.

In the case of Man of Steel Snyder is shooting a script by David Goyer based on a story by the Nolans. So there is a collaboration here as well. It would be untrue to call it "100% Snyder's film". If Snyder had written the story I'd let you get away with that claim.
