Any day now (but my guess is the week before xmas)
I have to agree with you. Light up eyes makes me think of a Mattel "Heat Vision" action figure version. Please no light up eyes. Nothing more guaranteed to make it look like a toy except perhaps spring loaded flying action arms.

And I think there's a bit difference between the Iron Man figs having the light up function and Superman having a light up function. With Iron man, It doesn't make the figure look more like a toy, but more Screen Accurate. Where as like I stated above, Superman with light up eyes just seems like a constant gimmick that has been on so many superman figs in the past that it would just make this feel like more of a toy rather than a collectible figure if that makes any sense.
I feel it would be a waste of a HS. if there had to only be 2, I'd go for the extra to be a CK one over a "Heat Vision" one any day.
Only want light up eyes if lights comes out like a laser pointer.
MAKE IT HAPPEN HT!
different head, Red Eyes, white LED.
Just a guess.
Considering they've done it with NON DX's, i'd not be surprised to see it on this one.
so you're saying they did a bad job on Wesker, and all the Iron man figures BECAUSE of the light up eyes then?
Yes, this was intended to look Evil, but it fives you an idea
Looks no less toy-like than any other Hot toys figure.
cause it is a toy.
B. It still looks like a toy to me.
A. It's not Superman, and
B. It still looks like a toy to me.
But it's a personal thing. For me this would mean either unnecessary expense for something I'll never use, or the exclusion of something I'd be more interested in.
Each to his own.
Then maybe you should skip this figure, cause it is a toy.
I'm not fussed about it appearing gimmicky. It's a pretty safe bet that if HT do bring out an LED HS it'll be awesome. But yeah, given a choice I'd go with CK.
I was going to make a witty post, but then EF said the following.
so i don't need to
Granted, If it's one or the other, I'd rather have a CK as well.
provided we're getting a CK costume. My main point was that it looks no more "toy-like" than it already does, as, you know, he IS a Doll, and Dolls are toys.
if you don't collect toys, might i suggest buying statues instead?
Sorry I was assuming an average reading age and level of maturity just a wee bit above 12. I didn't realise I had to explicitly mention Hasbro or Mattel to get the message over. Next time I'll choose my words more carefully and make sure I consult my "English for Immature Pedants" reference.
