I've always critiqued Kojun for his inconsistencies, but IMO the Bruce Wayne HS was one of the best parts of DX12 and was Kojun's better efforts for the year 2012, and is so far the better Bale as Wayne sculpt compared to Yulli's earlier attempts. If I had money back when the first Begins figures came out I don't think I'd still buy them because I don't see "authentic likeness of Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne" as stated on the specs of those figures. On DX12's however, I can see it, even my non-collector friends see it (I had shown it to them with the rest of the package out of sight before asking them who they think it was so they can't be influenced by any batman-related imagery). May not be 100%, sure, but it's there and IMO it's not among HT's ugliest sculpts.

As for the QS001 Wayne HS, I'm okay with it, but I'd rather HT give it a more determined look similar to DX12's, as I find the half-smiling face they gave the QS001 a little too friendly.

Am I the only one that thinks if HT makes a 1/4 TDK Joker that they shouldn't have Yulli sculpt it? I mean she has tried a loooong time and still hasn't gotten the right likeness..

Yulli on Joker, Kojun on Iron Man. Their 2 highly-celebrated sculptors who's done their respective character assignments several times and each time their improvements are baby steps. Totally not ignoring their better works such as Yulli's Nicholson Jokers and Kojun's Jack Sparrow, but I believe HT should also give their other sculptors a shot at Ledger and RDJ.

Though that would only mean more Jokers and more Iron Men. LOL

I think the DX12 Bale sculpt is excellent. I've owned every Hot Toys Batman to date, and the DX12 was the only Bale portrait I've been truly happy with.

I like the DX12 Bale sculpt as well, but the likeness is off in my opinion.

^^^ It definitely is but it's not nearly as bad as some people think, especially when compared to previous sculpts. I think its a solid sculpt.

My dad was over for dinner the day my DX12 showed up and when I showed him the head sculpt without showing him the rest of the figure he knew exactly who it was. He wears bifocals and he didn't have his glasses with him, I think it's a pretty close likeness for that to happen. I'm happy with it, I just think his hair is too well groomed.
