lol I still dont understand why so many people hate T-3. compared to salvation t-3 is definitely the better film. it holds the essence of the first two films and doesn't take itself as seriosly as salvation does.

I don't hate T3 but it's my least favorite, I just find it lacks any substance, it just comes off to me like a pure visual movie really, fun to watch, but I feel like Cameron has a morality and underlying point to his T films that was completely lost in T3.

There's no such thing. The rights to the series are a tangled mess. As far as I know Orion owns the rights to the first film (which means MGM now owns them), Studio Canal owns the rights to the second and everything after that is split up between C2 Productions and The Halcyon Company. From what I can tell the rights changed hands between C2 and Halcyon between the two seasons of the TV show. There are also a bunch of territorial issues as well in regards to things like theatrical distribution, home video rights etc.

Granted, that isn't going to stop a company like Hot Toys from acquiring the rights if they want to it just isn't one package deal. They've obviously done figures from the first and fourth films but they undoubtedly had to acquire the rights to the second like any other license they want.

I wouldn't go that far. Terminator 3 is better because it's NOT as serious? We are talking about terminator, right? Killer cyborgs that rule the planet and travel back in time to kill future resistant leaders, thats doesnt sound like a laughing matter to me. Salvation is a great, underated film. Why hate on Mcg for making bad movies like Charlies angels, Does anyone hate on James Cameron for directing Piranha 2?

as for the arnie sculpt, it's a bit too premature to judge but looks good so far. however, i'd only buy a battle-damaged version with some endoskull showing. right now it just looks like a figure of arnold which isn't that visually appealing to me. the endoarm reveal is nice tho...
