I think 194019 is so much Arnold. But if you don't see it, you don't. I don't see Renner in the new Hawkeye, but everybody is praising that hs. I think this is pretty damn good.

Well....how else should it look? He did have long hair, combed back in this one. I know they can't seem to sculpt his T2 hairstyle to save their lives but this looks alright to me.

Well it shouldn't be wavy for one. It's not like that in the movie at all. He's got it pretty much straight back the whole time, even in the 2017 timeline when it's grey. It's also too "fluffy" if that's a right word for it. It doesn't stick out in bulges on his head.

It's a little tall on the top at some points, but in no way does it look like he gelled his hair with waves. I'd rather have another afro Arnie.

I can see a certain waviness to his hair here^

I was more concerned that Hot Toys would do this>

Which I haven't fully ruled out yet mind you.

I did notice it looks different in that one, but it wasn't to the degree on the headsculpt. Either way, ruling out the 2017 version... the 84' version isn't accurate to what was on screen. I guess the waves come from the wig he was wearing, since his hair seemed longer and more uniform than his real hair and it moved around a lot... like when he's in the helicopter and the wind is catching it.

Looking at the headsculpt again, I think the main thing that bothers me with it is that he's almost got a part in his hair.

I usually don't nitpick HT to this degree :lol

I think if the front of his hair was at least more combed straight back, I'd accept the wavy look. But even on the Oldminator, it's straight in the front as the 84' was.

Well, I'm not one to judge others for picking nits with Arnie's hair....maybe I should reconsider that sentence....

You could be right though, in the shots you've posted it looks tighter and neater than the figure has it. Any yet my biggest problem with, say, the DX13's hair is that it is too short, too neat and round (in addition to the hairline being more like 66 year old Arnie)

Seems like HTs is destined never to get Arnie's hair right no matter what movie. NECA generally has no problem with it and Enterbay nailed it on their BD T-800 figure at least.

It's very perplexing as to why they always miss the mark. There's really no reason for it, considering they have like a 2 hour film to base it on, and use screen captures... plus loads of promotional materials, especially for the onslaught of press for this film... and then get it wrong? Simpler is better, because it seems if they put too much effort into it... they give him an afro... again.

They did MMS136 justice I think, might be the only Arnie with the most accurate hair considering. Both headsculpts IMO are right on the money.

The hair is probably a bit too wavy. Not a big deal for me.

I saw the movie yesterday. I enjoyed it. For those who think the headsculpt looks too much like Tommy Lee Jones from MIB, that's how Arnie looked to me in some of the shots in the movie.
