The only thing I don't like from this figure is that they are still using the rubber elbow joints. My Midas elbow joints cant hold a 45 degree angle. Other than that I am glad I pre ordered it.

My Midas and MK VII hold a 45 degree angle ok but i am worried about how well the rubber joints will last.

Have you guys stopped to think how cool this armor will look next to the STEALTH Captain America???

I am planning on putting him with my Shield display (Stealth cap, BW, Hawkeye, Fury and Coulson). Really looking forward to this one, It's just so damn gorgeous

I really like the MK7 and the only other one I have is the BD version. I almost ordered Midas but I just couldn't get C-3PO out of my head...

Luckily this one looks better I think. I actually ordered it when I was eating out and got the email on my phone. I didn't even notice the reflective pieces, see through pieces, digital camo or decal writing ... Looks much better on a large screen. Glad I ordered it in the end.

Makes up for not ordering Python too.

In fact I just took another look at Python and he looks like the love child of Stealth and Midas ...

I think aside from HB who I was about to order I'll be sticking with the exclusives and promo pieces from now on. As long as they look cool ... The only not promo/ diecast I have is Heart Breaker and that's just because he looks so cool ..

Im glad I finally got the shoulder rockets on Mk 7 also as the BD version doesnt have them ...

If anything the razor sharp look of this figure really whets my appetite for the darker HPP armors, marks 12-14, cassonova, romeo, and of course SHOTGUN

I was hoping either the Mark 13 or 14 would get made (in like 5 years as convention exclusives), but I think this figure fills that need for a dark armor. I do like the Mark 14 head though, so I may consider picking it up from a Striker after it comes out.

Beautiful figure, even if it feels beyond excessive at this point. At least this is something Hot Toys had planned a long time back with the Mark III mold, and I'm assuming it's a little nod to the comic.

I'm thinking about getting on the waitlist myself... someone remind me a WL conversion doesnt mean an instant order and instead needs confirming by the bus
Yer right? And you still pay just the NRD it's just some payment options (Paypal and layaway) which aren't available unless you ask nicely?

Thinking if in the coming days I decide I had wanted this there may be a slim chance of getting one...

I'm in a want it/don't want it frame of mind, love the paint apps but not loving the price or those damn rubber joints they seem intent to keep using..., wish they'd just do the same thing as they did with the diecast figures but hey hoe..., things to keep money in my pocket are never really bad when there's other things I want to buy.

Yeah I'm unsure too. I think its one of those figures you'd regret passing on but at the same time its something you don't really want.
If they reveal another promo figure that's an AOU character I can see this going back to pre order status

I want every Iron Man suit but things like this that aren't real ones I'm not fussed about really, it looks great but thankfully I'm not that sort of completest..., I will no doubt doubt my decision, even now my first impulse is buy it..., I can't afford everything I want though & really have to think about the mark 45 & hopefully the Iron Legion drone, plus now the War Machine mark II version 2 has been explained to me I'm pondering on that one now as well. If they make a diecast version of the earlier suits too, those are also a priority for me. If I had lots of cash though, this would've been ordered in a heartbeat..., I'm surprised I was able to resist really though & glad it went to wait list so quickly, no way I'd want to pay for the figure in one go so it made my mind up that the opportunity to buy it has passed.

Yeh I've jumped on the WL, will decide if it ever converts... shame this isn't like Python where it ships soon after order as you may have found someone you could have shipped it onto and gained the extra points!

Can't see that happening. There's great fondess for a stealth iron man. Everyone knows where this one is going in value. Doesn't get past the waitlist.

Great post. I just made this same statement in the Stealth poll thread. It took HT a long time to get there, but this was one many folks wanted. I'm glad we got a stealth now vs that. The Mark III stealth paint job would have been a blue hue i am sure and not the clean metal and clear look this one will have. No pinhead and disproportionate body as well.
