This got to be the most articulated 12' Batman figure ever. The Medi will be hard pressed to beat this in the articulation department despite looking more accurate.

I too am blown away by this. Thought the shoulder pads would hamper arm movement loads, but they actually flex out, (you can see the extra tab of plastic when they do), and the articulation is great.

Sadly, I am affected by goodshipped's shipment dates. Not only and I waiting on the new suit TDK Batman, he still hasn't shipped my Joker to me. Live and learn ... order from Joe!

What the heck! I thought you had your Joker ages ago? He sent me mine two weeks ago now.

This has been bugging me. What are those little holes on the abs? Not in the actual costume and wasn't in the prototype either. Not a flaw cause all the figures have it.

The holes actually are on the film costume. I was just looking at my Mattel TDK figure and notice them, so I went back to my TDK suit photos, they're more subtle on the film costume, but they are there.

Well, they slip up, they don't nail every detail, the irony is sometimes they pick up on the small details like those holes, and then miss something big like a coat's color or something, it's kidna interesting.

This one shows the new figure isn't larger than the first.

HA! /o/ I was right in my earlier post when I said I thought the other pic was a matter of perspective and positioning.

EDIT:

Woah....any reason why, if you don't mind my asking? Do you not have any good cinemas near where you live?

Maybe he doesn't like getting @$$raped by the ticket prices (considering the price of two is near the cost of what the BlueRay will be). Besides, I think The Dark Knight has earned enough at the box office to secure the franchise forever, don't you?

Some nice pics, love this one

Well the good ones are about a 1 hour drive away, and then there is parking problems. I'd have no time through the week and during the weekend in the city is a nightmare for parking.

Damn, the belt looks so yummy in that shot! As does the kevlar patches!

where do you live? alaska's wilderness?

man i think this might be my favorite figure in my collection once i get him in terms of fun factors. i was worried i wouldnt be able to pose him as much as i wanted to but seeing these pics makes me want to dish out $200 to get him a week earlier on eBay. once this figure arrives the wait starts again for Iron Man and Bank Robber. this might quite possibly be the best year for 1/6 figures by far!

that first pic is amazing, the eyes are so lifelike, it could be real

Just got a reply back, ActionHQ said that the release got pushed back to late October/early November.

Although that doesn't make any sense if it's already going out to other places and other people ordering from ActionHQ already had charges made.

That really doesn't make any sense at all. In the email they sent me, 23rd.

Thank you for your order. The Hot Toys Batman New Costume is coming in stock next week.

We have successfully charged your order and are preparing to ship.

We will provide you with the tracking number when the order is shipped.

Thank you and best regards,

AHQ Team

They wouldn't have charged me if it was to be delayed... surely. I guess I'll soon find out next week.

Just looked on ActionHQ.
This is a PREORDER item and is expected to be in stock on:
Friday 14 November, 2008. Subject to change.

Will be interesting to see what happens next week if I get the dispatch email or not.

I don't believe I mentioned anything about TDK not making enough at the box office?? Was merely asking why vodoun had not seen it at the cinema, as, for me, TDK was a film that truly had to be experienced in IMAX.

(Which is why I flew from Guernsey, UK to Orlando, FL to see it at midnight release.) :D
