yeah medicom looks more accurate but i am boycotting medicom after experiencing loose joint syndrome and HT has never let me down

Same. Its a decision that can only be made with poor experiences. Medicom has almost ALWAYS let me down so why should their TDK line be any different? There are way too many different proto TDK images of HT's version to say what is what and what the final look will indeed be.

It was very off putting reading some huge thread on the Medicom issues, as has already just been said. Loose joints, lots of breakages, extremely fragile areas and over the top prices for cheap plastic joints on these type of figures. As well as some peoples figures had broken as soon as they touched it while lifting it out of the box.

[Edit] Thats another thing that irks me with the look of the Medicom, the cape is way too short. The DCD was longer than that. Just at the heels if I mind right. The Medicom cape length causes it to look like toy status... however the legs look stunning on it, but the top half looks rather, ugh...

The belt looks much better than Hot Toy's. Almost spot on in some degree I'd say, just a few off colours in the center of the belt buckle part.

Improvement on The Dark Knight – 12" Batman (TDK Version) - Good news for Batman fans! The last day of September will be the release date of TDK – Batman collectible figure (The Dark Knight Version). The other exciting news is, we’ve made some revisions on the final product to make it as accurate as the real batman in the movie. First, we’ve narrowed his shoulder and reduced the size of his shoulder armors. Second, tighter pants for him to looks more fit in size. Third, JC Hong, YULLI & Kim Jung Mi have amended both head-sculptures as your bonus! Lastly, we’ve also made a little amendment on his cape & belt and color of his suit. You’ll realize how much he has been improved when you got him. You know, we just want to impress you!

HA! I doubt that. Is that a challenge? I wager you $5, my friend that you'll break and look at the new pics within 24 hours of them hitting the net.

I can't wait to see the new pics. I've been a bit antsy about my TDK Batman pre-order mainly because of how inaccurate it was.

What's interesting to me is the comment about improvements on BOTH heads, so even the Bale head got tweaked. It'd be great if the new Bale head looks 100% like Bale, they were close on the Begins Bale head, so if they made changes, it should be nailed now.

The leg armor is supposed to be tighter to the body, but I hope that doesn't mean the patterning is more pronounced, if the overall fit is better but the look is still like the proto, that'd be great.

So what's the deal with Joe's shipment, the newsletter sounds like it's not shipping out until end of September, be interesting if they did indeed ship him his allotment though.

ps: if you ask me, that was what they should have done with V1 Joker. But this way I will end up with TWO brilliant Joker figures... My budgt for this year is WAY beyond limit so I would have prefered to have all diferent characters. Instead of two Jokers I would have prefered the two villains: Joker and Harvey. Guess I Will have to pass on Two Face. This is how my TDK shelf will include:

I'm still puzzled by that, as ActionHQ still hasn't taken payment yet. Looking at The Joker email, they took payment 2 weeks in advance before it was shipped. :s

Thats because they didnt know dcd was shipping them as well and they needed to know if people were still intrested as it had a lot of interested so first come first serve.

I'm so glad they tweaked the Bale head. The BB Bale was ok but I hope they really nailed it this time.
