I think it looks good. I'd like to see some more pics with different lighting. I bet the cowl will look a lot better to those that don't like it with some different views.

Trust me dude its just the lighting, I took a real good look with real Bale and the HT's one and other than the crazy bags under his eyes its almost spot on. Wait until we get some decent pics.

I watched the movies five times, enough time to be able to tell that the DK cowl can look really different in different scenes and different lighting condition.
If you must have a pic, the one that comes to mind is the cover of July American Cinematographer. When I saw this latest HT pic, that's the pic that crossed my mind.

As you asked, to me that image is the best one yet the resembles the actual screen cowl.
No, I was asking for a picture of the actual cowl from an angle that resembles any picture from the HT pictures.

I agree, the cowl looks great there, very 'let her go' party scene.
But the chest looks WAY too big, hopefully just the way it is posed. Nice box art.
i think it looks perfect except for body type i love everything about it. except its not on the skinny bodytype but considering they probably cant remake all these tiny little bat suits for the small body in time to make there dates. i will forgive them.however if i find out later on they put out batman with small body type and glowing eyes i will be forced to go to hong kong or korea where ever they are and pull a batman on there asses.

I seriously doubt there will be a version 2 DK Batman. The amount of revisions and delays HT placed in this figure makes me think that they are really working on this as the definitive version of DK Batman.
If they have plans of a version 2 DK Batman, they probably would have just release this current version sans improvements.
With the amount of flak they have been getting from their fans for releasing an improved version a few months later (predator anyone?), I believe HT have learn their lessons.

I believe that once this is in collectors hands and there are some pictures taken in different lighting, the accuracy of the new cowl will be evident. I personally and happy with the new sculpt.

I think I'll wait on this one. Wait for a TDK Version from the next film Hot Toys makes like they redid their Begins suit. Hopefully, the color of the armor will be corrected then.

The lighter grey on the Hot Toys version just makes an already super-busy design of armor look even more busy. The Medicom one is okay, but they lost my money for good a while ago

Absolutely it's improved from what it was before, but that's just how bad the original was. You seriously think this looks accurate?

The original sculpt is not bad in any way because it was the same as the Original Suit Batman. As for that pic you posted, looks more like pigman to me.

It was me! Seriously, with the neck angled as forward as poss and a slight tilt on the head, with the chest 'in', I think this will look great.
