it just occured to me one thing that adds to batmans bulky appearance is that cape its pretty thick matarial (1/1 scale material) considering the 1/6th scale. is it possible to replace the cape with something thinner on my own do you think?
Just read the article here are some things mentioned:
1. Insufficient info prior to the release of the movie. Hence the big changes made to the mask, neck, lower body, cape, belt, etc......
2. The mask will have breathing holes at the nostrils.
3. HT has redesigned the shoulders so that it looks more natural.
4. The material for the cape is thinner.
5. It is strongly hinted that there will be an additional cape (or just the wire) included. The description is very unclear and it may even come with the Batpod.
6. Cape is removable.
7. Two-Face will be shown soon.

What does the paragraph say with the names Lucious Fox, Alfred, and Gordon at the bottom of it? It's the paragraph under the picture of Bruce Wayne holding his mask.
That would explain why the Batpod is nearly $150 more than we expected ($150). It would be nice of them to say that though if it really is! Hopefully if it does, it will be different (ie "batpod suit" to fit right and not worry about damage to the rubber, wired cape, additional accessories like the sticky mine gun).
It really is unclear so I can't do a 100% accurate translation....
The more I look at the words now it seems that it will be an additional cape with inner wire (would make sense since they made the cape removable). I guess we will find out next week.
It's funny everyone complaining about the nit pickers when in reality we're part of the reason why the thing has been revised to begin with. Maybe we should be quiet and be happy with a sub par product like the first Joker sculpt. All those complaing about the nit pickers, how about you mail me the new Joker head when you get your figures in and you can use the first sculpt. Better yet, keep your v.1 Batman and send me the sculpt from the new one just released why do you need it the first one was perfect right?
I'm debating I have it preordered with BBTS but to be honest I can't afford it right now. Other life CRAP came up and I would have to sell my ver 1 Batman to get TDK costume. I personally like the Begins costume a lot more, but I want TDK version to display with Joker and Two Face. Decisions, decisions...
Me too, just with HT Joker and Two-Face coming, TDK suit would look better on the shelf next to them. I love the Begins suit, more menacing and creature like to the more tech suit in TDK. I don't hate that suit, but prefer Begins. I wonder how hard these will be to track down at a reasonable price down the line.
That would also explain why the cape is removable, or surely they'd have used the same technology on the Begins figure since it's likely basic.
It'd be cool if there's a second cape, it's wired, and it's longer, I'd love that, maybe that's why we've seen 2 capes on the figure, because he'll have it.
If they sneak in the 2 cape scenario, wonder what the chances of a sticky gun are.
Jack Sparrow's rum bottle wasn't listed when his description went up, so I wouldn't doubt it!
