I kind of take back what i said before, with those new new pics, its looking great, but there is still something off, i am really not sure what it is. The medicom one looks great to me, perfect even, but from what ive heard about quality, i wont be getting it, i really love how the legs are actually armoured though, like the real one, whereas the HotToys one looks to flow into the armour too much, like its one piece. I also dont like how the armour parts look like a silver, more than a dark grey, i believe thats part of the lighting effect they use to give the black a dark blue look though, as in the rest the color looks spot on. I think it will look a lot better in real life, although something is just still off. I really cant put my finger on it! I think it just needs a lower, more menacing stare. Cant wait to get it though, roll on Oct!

The thing is they should have fixed the issue of the cowl already while they were working on fixing it. They had their time, but they didn't utilize it well.

The rubber suit construction allows for a lot more poseability. The Medicom version, due to the nature of construction will have restricted poseability.

Or they just plain missed the mark, nothing's to say the cowl was rushed or they didn't take their time, not every sculpt comes out perfect. They may feel this improved cowl is a great effort until hearing the feedback from collectors on the subtle nuances that aren't quite there.

This will be one of those things that will be a non-issue when we have the figure in hand. The ori batman suit initially looks like it got too long and too big of a head. In person, it looks correct.

For me, i only orderer him so he can ride the Batpod...definitely something up with the sculpt from top to toe...I'm going with the Medicom version to display standing...This version, sadly, is for displaying humping the pod ONLY

I love the "new" new Batman, really looking forward to this, the Iron Men have over shadowed him recently but this has put the Bat back in pole position!

PS I have no issues with the new cowl

whats up with all these complaints, there is a fine line between constructive criticism and just being a plain old whiny 5 year old who didnt get the right happy meal toy. if you are so unsatisfied go pay christian bale to come to your house, wear his costume, and model for you or dont buy it. i really dont see how it can get any better than this. dont even mention medicom because it doesnt even compare to HT products. thats stupid to dish out $150+ for a figure you have so many gripes about.

Dang! I really, really love those hi-res scans... I think they make the figure look even better. I've saw the old proto at comic-con and I have to say the detail on this figure is really what makes it extraordinary. People are going to be very happy to have him in hand.

That being said, do I have issues with the cowl, etc? Sure, at first glance it could be better but I have faith that it will still be an outstanding figure. Narrowing the shoulders was a great call and very necessary and it does look like the cape will be easily removable.

Cannot wait for delivery!

The magazine shot with the Unmasked Batman looking out a window away from the camera looks great. I am guessing that he is simply holding the alternate head, but an empty cowl would be an amazing accessory too!
