I'm sold after seeing the picture above. That's the best one I've seen so far. Suit looks great.

Actually, the ArmorAll is not a very good idea. Over time, it begins to corrode the rubber. This was discussed in detail over in the HotToys RoboCop thread as issues have arose around the HotToys ED-209's rubberized sensor cover.

so what is the best way to preserve the rubberized armor on a figure like this?????

well that kinda makes it hard for me to spend that kind of money on a figure...no matter how awesome he is

I don't think you need to worry too much. I have a few 12" with rubber suit (Ultraman, Rambo, Batman, Old Snake...etc.), some for like 6-7 years. As long as you don't treat it like action figures and push the limits of the stretchy rubber suit, they will hold up just fine. Its the earlier materials (late 90s & early 00s) used that had issues with melting or cracking. Keep it in room temperature, no direct lights, and they will hold up just fine. With all these details, they look better than statues, but you can still pose them and change the look with accessories. Especially with this TDK release, I wouldn't hold back and regret later. ;)

If you really want to be safe and not use Armor All or any additive chemicals, just use a little bit of plain oil to moist up areas where the suit takes more stress. Like the armpits, elbow, & hip. Just a drop or two will do. They'll slowly get absorbed and not greasy to the touch eventually.

Fedex tried delivering a package to me today and I had to sign for it. I haven't ordered anything lately. Could this be it?

You would be the only person (counting dealers) to have it in the whole wide world. (Besides Hot Toys)

I've had my Medicom Ultraman and Godzilla for years, as well as HT's RoboCop. I don't really oil them up, or wet them, or anything. Just an occasional shot of compressed air from a distance to keep the dust off. So far, I don't have any signs of tear, peeling or rotting. I also don't overly pose them either and make sure I wash my hands before handling them. So long as the temperature you store them in isn't humid or too hot and dry, it should really be fine. I don't expect mine to last forever (that'd be nice though) but I don't really do anything special to them and they've lasted perfectly fine so far.

any more new pics? i want to see the shot from the front side. Want to check the improvements on the legs.

Probably a dumb question, but is there anywhere at all to preorder the Hot Toys Dark Knight for this first shipment anymore by chance? Most sites I see say it delivers in December. ActionHQ has them still for 200...ew.

? :(

there is no way HT would go for another revision, the clock is ticking.
but i would like to show you a quick photoshop work i've done on how the cowl should look, at least from my opinion.

my main concern is the eye part, i tweak it a bit to match the preying panther looks just like in the movie.
the second part is mouth area where i think it should be closer to the eye, as all of you said before.

tell me what you think guys

thanks, maybe someone could post the real Bat suit with Bale in it so you guys can give a fair judge to this case
