Well yeah. That's because things get better.

What was good then, is not good now...but then...I still have my Marvel Legends Deadpool, and he still looks awesome to me. For the price (he would've been when he was released...I got him later on...) he's amazing.

Plus, you got to think...this was PRE- Super Sideshow, and Pre- Hot Toys...sure high end stuff existed...but in my collecting world, it was McFarlane, NECA, and Toy Biz....they were the 3 giants of awesomeness.

I dunno, are they worth whatever they're worth now? No. Probably not. But back then, they were gold. You have to look at things as they were, not as they are.

I do and did and they sucked just as bad back then, especially compared to what Hasbro was putting out. Hell, even the DC figures looked better.

Despite the masses disagreeing with ya (just look at the pathetic prices for their early stuff on ebay), they don't even hold a candle to what Hasbro's doing now.

I don't give jack about what they go for now on ebay. Is that what you collect for? That and to be part of the masses?

I love my Toy Biz collection.

DC's Mattel's stuff didnt exist back then. If that's what you're talking about

Hasbro made some decent things...but that was post SAGA, which had some horrible stuff. The Revenge of the Sith stuff and up, were greatness.

That's when Hasbro took charge.

After the peak of ML.

For me, considering these thinks had little to no playability, it was all about investment back then (was in my 20's). Hitting up the cons now, I see I wasn't the only one who thought that way. Turned out to be a bad one. Vendors can't even give them away at 10 for $5.
