I loved Esposito in this episode, the dude is a great actor.
He's an awesome actor. Still undecided on this one, but I think I should start plotting approximately how many figures I want to make room for -- at the moment I'll have maybe two Mando figs (or maybe just keep the early armor to swap in and out), the child (who doesn't count space-wise), Death Trooper (but that was really for my Krennic), Scout, and so then that just leaves IG-11 and this dude as real considerations for me.
Then Dark Trooper... Bo-Katan.... Boss Fett.... Mando in Mudtrooper gear... Mando S2 with Spear... Luke with black cloak and Child....
...Deluxe Koska Reeves with rag doll Boba Fett...

When I ordered the deluxe Beskar Mando + Child, I said that was it as far as HT Star Wars figures go. Then they released Moff Gideon, and I said well I'll limit myself to a select few characters from The Mandalorian, but nothing from the OT, ST or PT. Now we have a potential Luke from The Mandalorian. Hello loophole! Damn, this hobby is a slippery slope.

2nd season of the 1st of MANY Star Wars shows and movies in the pipeline. I am almost ready to throw in the towel lol.
Alright I finally caved and ordered this guy, as I just loved how deliciously evil he was in the finale, and that fight with Mando was epic. So guess I'll have to cross my fingers and hope they improve the sculpt before release.
And here I thought I could limit myself to the OT, with a "sprinkling" here and there of the others...

Honestly I fully endorse and can now include the first two seasons of The Mandalorian in the OT as an extension post ROTJ. This last episode made the connection that has sealed it for me.

Totally. And if it keeps going this way with Thrawn, The Book of Fett, Ashoka and all the other post ROTJ content. That's all I need for my own personal canon.

I accept some elements of the narrative delivered in the PT but not the films themselves. While I find elements of The Clone Wars and Rebels entertaining, they're too inconsistent for me to include beyond hints of backstory gleaned here and there, so receive similar treatment to the PT despite having overall better execution.
I reject the Sequel Trilogy's conception, scripts, characters, overall execution and narrative presumptions entirely.
I didn't love every story decision in the ST, but still enjoyed enough to accept it. The prequels I've gradually come to accept as canon... but I still do my best to ignore it anyway. Lol
The OT-era will always be the absolute best for SW though, no question about that.

The Mandalorian
Solo is close and I enjoyed most of it, but I just can't fully get on board with recast Han and Lando and that awful L3 character. After a couple repeat viewings I have really come to enjoy Woody Harrelson and Emilia Clarke in that movie.
But in my original post I guess what I was saying is that going beyond cannon I have kinda elevated the first two seasons of The Mandalorian to the top tier with the OT. I still consider the PT and RO cannon but not on the same tier as the OT.
