This toy is going to be so badass. I don't even care if he has rubberized elbows. **** it. I don't even look at the elbows. If the elbows crack, so be it. That just means better articulation

I just got charged my 2nd to last payment. I think there seeing this as happening on time this time. I had a huge gap in the middle of my payment plan and now its starting back up. 25th is my last payment, if i hear people are getting shipment notices ill pay earlier. This things gonna be awesome.

do i use my reward points on this or wait for the inevitable Luke and Leia two pack?... what to do, Raiden does look cool though and it has a lot going on.
My fear is that its articulated like an Iron Man figure, basically throw dynamic posing out the door.

I don't think the rubber will be that thick, but even so, don't expect to be able to pose it very much.

I think they planned to make it, but the low sales of BigBoss stopped them from Bothering. But that's speculation, how does anyone even find out the numbers and such?

Are Hot Toys even aware that a Solid Snake would sell alot better?

For godsake I hope that's not the case.
Shouldn't be, as Raiden isn't really in a rubber body suit per se. But like others on here I do have a feeling Hot Toys aren't gonna make a big effort to give this figure new articulation tech and design

It would be a travesty if this figure doesn't come with fully functioning, non-restrictive ratchet joints. Raiden's suit gives a lot of leeway for exposed joints, that you wouldn't even notice. It would be a shame if HT just covers them up with rubber.

I remember seeing a thread on osr where someone opened up their medicom raiden, removed a bunch of things, and made some modifications that gave the figure WAY better articulation.

On the positive side, Im confident HT Raiden will have more movement than that medicom one

They can just put separate rubber joint covers below the armor just like some of the robot toys.
