Yeah the elbows could have easily been a joint. Maybe its much harder to sculpt them than just make a rubber sleeve. Another worry is how well can the torso move?

Really none of it matters to me as I'm a big fan of the museum pose. Evey image of this guy looks incredible as is. Rotting rubber is another issue i suppose

They could of hidden them well, but I feel almost certain they're rubber. Damn shame, it would of been one of the only figures I would of poses outside of museum stance.

I'm gonna be an optimist and still be thinking it's a regular cut joint. And not a rubber sleeve. If I'm right, it's hidden hella well.

Rubber Sleeves ain't a real problem with dynamic posing as long as the sleeves are separated from the main armor. i have some stuff that has rubber sleeves to cover the joints, they are molded to fold in when you pose them, and they don't disintegrate like your typical HT rubbers. Unless you are doing extreme poses that compress the rubber so much that you can't bend the joints further due to the rubbers.

Enterbay style ball joint won't work well since the ball joints are actually protruding the rest of the areas. Old school clamp together joints should work better as they are more compact. I'm assuming Raiden's armor is the body itself and there's no Base body inside the armor, if there's a base body inside normal joints should work well.

DX12 was $260 I think, something around that. $300 isn't so bad when you realize $200 is the standard for VGMs now I guess.
