with this not released til december im gonna keep my preorder for now in the hope the final headsculpt will have an improved jackman likeness (HT are still working on the sculpt afterall so there is some hope!) and also i hope some pics will be revealed between now and the release of origins wolvey of the HT xmen trilogy wolvy so that i can compare the 2 and see which one i want! (i doubt we'll see HT trilogy pics til after the release of the origins wolverine though!)

i wish HT would have used a silm (much slimmer than dutch and italian stallion anyway) full muscle body! the visable joints in the arms/wrists make it look too action man toyish IMO.dutchs arms can perform most human average poses i.e arms up/down/bent at elbows etc comfortably with the muscle body so i dont see how this new body type improves articulation? no poses without his jacket for me


it also looks to me like the bicep and forearm are muscle body type rubber and not sculpted plastic?

Absolutely gorgeous. I really like that they went with a hard plastic body on this one (or at least, that's what it looks like)

Hard to tell when the vest is on if the torso is hard plastic or rubber. The arms are definitely completely seperate though, you can see the line at the shoulder. And with the exposed elbow joints it would seem they are not of the breakable metal band variety. I think its all great whatever it is. It should be capable of a greater range of movement than Dutch for sure, while IMO not looking too unsightly either.

I hope there's some improvement on it before it comes out. Looks good, but it's just not Jackman.

I would rather pose it without the jacket but can't the way it is now. It's a while before it ships and I'll keep my preorder from SS but if there's no improvement I might just cancel it.

Come on HT! You can do better than this!

Just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in.

I can't imagine ever leaving the hobby short of being struck with bankruptcy. In my heart I'll always want to be in this, it's just who I am. I've often said, I'm willing to tone it down should a girlfriend/wife want me to, I'm ok with compromise, but I will not give it up entirely, it's who I am and ask me to give up a part of who I am is something I won't stand for.

Yes you are a true winner if you can be who or what you are regardless of circumstance. Its just strange, I remember telling Rock83 that HT's is simply producing nothing I want. Suddenly I can name almost 10 items I now must have. Weird. Bastards.

Well, I can understand you on that. Up until this past month, HT's not been making anything of interest to me. Connor and Marcus appealed from T:S, but all the endos did nothing for me, the video games, Michael Jacksons, lots of stuff I could care less about. Now they got and get the X-Men trilogy license and they'll be back to making stuff I really am interested in again, and if they do Matrix figures that'll catch me. Thankfull with Spiderman, I just want a good movie Spiderman, no villains, just a good one of him. X-Men will be tough for me if they do all the characters I like and in the representations I want.

This Wolverine is just so cool, I'm glad it's expected within the year, with my Medicom Wolverine broken, I'm really eager to have a Wolverine again. I'm also really glad I didn't spend the $50+ I was probably going to have to spend to get a new RAH to replace on Medi-Wolverine, between getting a cheap Trilogy costume to use for this figure short term, and high likelihood of HT making Trilogy Wolverine, I can completely replace my Medicom figure, and upgrade at that.

Yeah it also worked out for me too ............ I missed out on the Medi Wolverine so this will be more than decent for me. I never really liked his costume in part 1 anyway. This IS Wolverine imo.
