I think SDCC received the old proto Wolverine. The sculpt isn't the same in normal lighting (plus hair looks black) IMO. Based on the sculpt displayed at the Asian Toy Fare, it is a must have in my book.

^ I think you're right. It looks like Hot Toys modified the sculpt and that's why Sideshow didn't take any pics of it.

Reguardless, someone has to be nuts to pass up this figure over not being 100% exact Jackman. The figure looks fantastic.

Just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in.
I can't imagine ever leaving the hobby short of being struck with bankruptcy. In my heart I'll always want to be in this, it's just who I am. I've often said, I'm willing to tone it down should a girlfriend/wife want me to, I'm ok with compromise, but I will not give it up entirely, it's who I am and ask me to give up a part of who I am is something I won't stand for.
