I'd be up for a video tutorial on casting as well as a list of products used and whatnot. It's something I've been looking into. I've read up on the subject, but all of the medium options and the entire process just seem overwhelming when I know that it's not. I'm sure if I actually saw someone cast something step by step I'd be able to do it myself.

It looks good, but I think the, for lack of a better word, points on the top could used a small bit or refining/evening up. Keep in mind that I'm not buying one, so this is an honest, unbiased opinion.

I'm thinking the normal pitting around the edge of the crown, perhaps some sharper edges on the crown itself? It'll be easier to tell once sanded & has a coat of primer on it. I'll have to take another look at the original pics.

I agree.

The tips of the scales look like they need a bit of evening up.
Maybe you should try using a coint to help guide the lines.

Elder Pred...if you can work the sculpt some more to match the above, definitely count me in for a painted Narin with mesh lenses!

Cjk- I know I'm missing the thing on the forehead, and the laser part. I really only worked on the crown.

So, should I just grind down what I got now, and star again?
