Wow that is pricey guys...

Unfortunatley, everything's getting pricier. Look at Wolverine, he doesn't come with anything and he costs $165-$170. Considering Thriller Mike comes with 2 unique headsculpts and 2 complete outfits, it's not so bad really.

The price isn't ridiculous, but if you compare it to say, the Godfather figure and its included accessories or DX Joker, it's not hard to wonder over what added to such a high price tag on the Thriller figure.

They should label the Thriller figure as a DX Icons (or something similar) right off the bat to assuage the sting of the tenuous value proposition.

Yeah in perspective it isn't that bad. Its only missing a second body to have TWO FULL COMPLETE figures. So add another $30 and you get 2 full figures for $225. Not bad at all. That's just over $110 a figure!

All we need is for HT to release an "african-american" slim body. Maybe with the non-smiling MJ head?

I didn`t think of that,that might happen as we have seen 2 Proto`s at the same time plus the extra set of clothes,it is a tease of what`s to come,oh boy i sure hope that happens.

I'm enjoying some of the news articles & posts about the figure on MJ fan boards. One news article said (before the price was known) that the price wasn't confirmed, but will most likely be $100 - $150. I had to have a little chuckle at that. And, it's also interesting seeing non-collectors trying to find out more about these 'Hot Toys'....lol. "So life-like", "Is it 2 figures, or do you swap the head or what?", "How do we get these?" - I'm not trying to make fun, I just find it interesting. It's like this hobby is an alien world to them!
