Can someone please tell me how Cobb and Saito get out of Limbo?

They just kill themselves? How does that work if A) they missed the 'kicks' and B) they were heavily sedated.

This only occurred to me on my third viewing last nite, so I must have forgotten how I understood this.

I think the way I remember it bud was that Limbo is not a layer but a state of consciousness and a kick is not required you just need to realise your there like Cobb and Mal remember and the train track?

Also I think the general feeling is the sedative was wearing off which allowed them to wake up but please correct me if I am wrong

I don't think it is that easy, I think Limbo is instantly meant to feel and look like reality hence the difficulty in what would feel like committing suicide to exit it

Also in Limbo your totem is your life saver, that's your distinction between the real and the make believe in limbo possibly more than the dream layers

I must say after watching this a second time. Anyone that thinks the whole movie is a dream is 100% dead wrong.
