I find it sad that it's almost inevitable that I'll wake up tomorrow, see the in hand pictures online and then promptly follow up by putting in an order with SSC :(

:lol I don't collect for resale so I don't keep the boxes save a couple like the SDCC Mark III GMG, it'd be waste really. Who is going to buy the original, loose, when this one is on the horizon? :duh

YIKES! Those boxes are what's probably gonna sell any of the original 3 marks, IMHO.

well, in my case at least, i want the original mark 3 because i want to complete the 3 original boxes. that makes me a winner and a loser at the same time.

I have the original mark 2 but i will not pass up on this one. toy's too damn beautiful.

"Limited Edition" has always been and always will be BS marketing term.

I'm so glad you shared your opinion but it's not a fact. There's plenty of limited edition collectibles out there that don't get remade.

I wonder if Hot Toys will ever make an Iron Man figure whose face looks like it could actually be inside that helmet. They always make the helmet too small, the face too small, the neck too long or all of the above. Don Cheadle would need a 12" neck and the back of his skull removed for his head to fit in there like that.

Yeah back when the remakes were so plentiful and I thought it'd be the only Marks done from that film, I had no intention to sell. Still don't really, I put them as decorations in my son's room since it's superhero themed up on a shelf, figured that about as good of a use as they are ever going to get. :lol

I have one of every mark out except the first which ironically a re-release will allow me to finish so I'll be content there.

You can probably still fund at least half (or slightly more) of the new mark 2 with the loose original mark 2 as long as the accessories are complete. I think there will be people who would want the original molding, the stark head and the original arc reactor gift thingie from pepper potts.

:exactly: IMO the face isn't the only out of scale pieces in the Mark's from II - VI

Do you buy the Iron Man HT?

I'm a big Bettany fan (since Knight's Tale) so I actually did know that off hand. How about who voiced the Iron Giant? Kinda on topic, iron right?
