The Iron Mans are one of the only (right now maybe the only?) thing I want from Hot Toys so complainers be damned. I want more suits. I just hope to hell they do a specific purpose suit in one of the movies like the Stealth or Deep Sea designs from Saunders. I'd LOVE a HT figure of one of those designs.

I'd kill for a Hulk-buster suit!

I'll say the same thing I did early regarding all the nitpicking about height, shine, and other specific details.

THESE ARE TOYS. If you expect everything to be exactly like it was in the movie, you are being unrealistic. :cuckoo:

Too tall, too short, wrong color, not shiny enough, doesn't look like the actor, I'd prefer it to look like the comic version.

Its rediculous to think any company can make every detail to every customers desires.

These toys are amazing! I guess every person thinks they are entitled to get exactly what they want. Its a shame those few individuals don't realize how unreasonable they are being.

And I am not talking about quality control. Thats a seperate issue.

Reading some of these post are comical, but SO REDUNDANT!:horse

And I know some are going to say THIS IS A FORUM WHERE WE ARE ENTILTLED TO GIVE OUR OPINION. I agree that this is a forum where all members are entiled to give opinions. As I am now. However, it would be nice to hear something different for a change.

My personal favorite, is criticising TEASERS, like Fury and Bane. People are complaing about price, accessories and other issues, AND WE HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN A PICTURE OR GOTTEN A SPEC ON EITHER FIGURE YET! WOW!!!! :cuckoo:

I think Hot Toys did this to themselves. They have set the bar so high with every release especially last year and the beginning of this year. People now expect Joker Dx01/ Pirates Dx06/ Superman Reeves/ Batman Dx08/Joker Dx09 head sculp and will bash anything that are not such quality.

When a new figure comes with underwhelming paint jobs/ head sculps/ high release prices/ little accesories/crappy box art/ etc. etc. People will complain because in their defense..Hot Toys delivered before..so why not now?

Not saying the Mark 2 unleash is bad..I am getting one and I am excited!!

I feel ya. Sometimes when I read the complaints people post about these figures I just can't help but wonder how they can't appreciate the fact that we are currently receiving the best figures on the market. These figures are easily light years ahead of anything collectors could have purchased 10 years ago.

:hi5:

Thanks guys, heres a more in depth look...some better size comparisons.

I almost want to say, at least from pics and videos, that the proportions on the Mark II look better than anything else that has been out.

true dat :goodpost:
Looks really great proportional wise.
What has really been changed that makes the proportions way better? I know the whole chest area but have the legs really been tweaked?

The legs are a huge part of it as is the whole shoulder area. The most obvious thing on quick glance is the abdomen. It also has that bulk from from to back that the Mark IV and VI have but the original II and III lack. The original II and III where pretty flat from front to back.

Dang I still can't make up my mind on wether to get this guy or the new mark I. I only have enough money to order one at the moment and I really want both! Agh, decisions, decisions....

I had the same issue. In the end it was which one would be a defining Iron Man ,because it would be the only one for me, and also the most accurate. I chose the Mark II. It just screams Iron Man. I love the fact that it not only has the outer shell but you can also see it's inner workings. And don't forget the reactor or the chrome factor as well.. The only thing I wish is that it came with Stark's head. That's my two cents at least.

P.S. My wife also gets a say because it's part of our memorabilia in our Home Theater/Living Room. We usually agree so it's not a problem and in the end she let's me get what I want any way. :)

Me personally if I was to just get one and didn't already have the original Mark I, I'd get the new Mark I.

It's an amazing feat of 1/6 scale manufacturing that doesn't really have an equal.
