I love how there was no mention of light dependent paints.

Well I was trying to keep it as simple as possible. I'd be willing to guess that the paint job on the Mark III (and the rest for that matter) is a more complex multi-layered translucent paint job which causes all sorts of complex interactions with light.

The Mark III on film definitely has a bit of metallic fleck in as well as you mention which the original Mark III release also has and I don't think the BD Mark III does although I could be wrong.

this work is the @dedguy in OSW forum
I think this exactly should be corrected by HT
in the photo has been retouched shoulder pads and neck. this is the look that must have the MarkII.
if hottoys dearly wants to make a figure.

this is a perfect work!!:yess:

I posted it here as well but was just ignored ;)

I don't know who you're responding to, but I agree the trap area should be at a steeper angle from the shoulder up the neck but I don't know if such a drastic change to the torso is something HT would do. I would love to see a lot of minor changes like that made.

Thats why the battle damaged version suffered that look. It was nearly flat. That has followed over onto this Mark II from the base of the battle damaged Mark III. The original Mark II/III had it much better.

If Hot Toys refined the NFL shoulder pads to the size of the Mark 4 and 6 it would look even steeper. We'd be laughing.

Funny, you can see the metallic speckles on this.

This has always been my biggest gripe about Hot Toys. Why do they make things near enough perfect then they take a huge step backwards and change things that didn't have to be changed while they left others that needed changed that remained unaltered.

I think the legs are the biggest improvement on the new Mark II and have gone from being really weird and too thin looking to perfect. The abdomen also is a pretty big improvement and looks much more accurate to the film in particular the CGI suit. If you look at that actual suit compared to The Josh's avatar you can see how much thinner the waist is on the CGI suit.

Has anyone considered posting on HT facebook page regarding making the correct mods to the figure and/or the prototype?

Sorry folks I'm not being lazy but I'm just curious, thanks.

I don't have a facebook account (and I'm not creating one) otherwise I would.

Damn the top 5 thread are Hot Toy's Iron Man (no wonder HT is milking it with updated re-releases) IMO they should do at least one armored villain, be it Iron Monger or Whiplash MK2)

Thanks you for the new wallpaper.

Kind of had enough of having to wait for Iron Monger. If they were to make it and it didn't look like this I would consider an instant failure

These are the pics of the proto Hot Toys showed. IMO much better than that pigeon toed mess.
