Couldn't wait since Iron man. (Iron man 2) I'm hoping for 2,3,4,5:)

I've now become a Robert Downy Jr follower. I thought his addiction was weak. But now he's pulled it together using Martial Arts. Smart move on his part, I'm impressed.

I am also a Wing Chun Practitioner.

Scarlett Johansson...I want one. :drool :love

Get in line, buddy! :pfft:

Saw the flick last night. Liked it. Didn't love it, but liked it.
OK, loved Scarlett, (count me in line!) and Mickey Rourke ruled, but the rest was just ok to me.
Getting tired of trashed suits so they can make yet another one....for the toy marketing I guess.
Anyway, was ok. Wasn't bored and I enjoyed the action scenes, what little there were. Again, thank God for Scarlett! Her just being there helped it all pass a little better.

Seeing it again with more friends, and maybe I will like it more the second time.
Still, I prefer the first movie, as a movie experience, to this one.

Nice HT figures coming out though. War Machine rocks.

^^^Yeah seems like Hot Toys slipped the makers a little cash under the table to use as many suits as possible in the movie. I predict getting at least 3 Iron Man suits and both Whiplash suits.

I plan on getting zero Iron Man suits and Zero whiplash figures. I wouldn't want my IM1 figures tarnished.

Went to the midnight show last night, got home at 3:30 AM, here are a few thoughts...

Iron Man 2 = ****ing awesome, I don't care what anybody else says. :rock

Scarlett Johansson...I want one. :drool :love

Mickey Rourke is a bad ass.

Best comic book movie franchise ever...period.

...will be seeing it again today, taking my nephew for his birthday. :yess:

Well said, IM1 and IM2 together make for what I believe to be the ultimate Marvel movie, the quintessential superhero excitement superbly captured on film.

These 2 movies watched back to back = FUN

Batman can keep his blackhole of a heart, I'll glady set up shop in the universe Marvel is creating here.

I could almost taste what the Avengers will be like, and I like what I smell so far!

Btw, best Stan Lee cameo.

Every negative comment I've read I simply didn't see or feel...:dunno

I guess I should change my name to Matt Murdock.

I agree with everything except the Batman comment. I enjoy the Marvel universe but I enjoy the DC offers as well.

I missed Stan Lee in this. Must have been before my cousin prodded me to wake me up.

Only joking, it wasnt too bad but I did miss his cameo.

Just got back, - 8/10

Was alot of fun, really enjoyed it, thought everyone did just fine in theyre roles.

I agree. A few misplaced parts along with alot of characters with no real development beyond Stark which was fine IMO. It wasn't perfect but I think the actor's did a great job and I found it enjoyable.

Yea I didn't understand some of the critisms, critics should shampoo my crotch.

Who compared the party scene to the bar scene in Spiderman 3? Are you outta your ____ing mind? Not even close.

ACDC was in it what, twice? Whats with all these complaints, I'm really starting to question if some of you didn't just watch that ____ quality russian leak version and just zone out, or even see it at all.

Loved Hogan having a bigger role, Johns a funny guy.

Loved him running into Ivan again and again, and also after Scarlett cleans house and he finally takes the one guy, he looks up all confused.

I also really liked the referance to Cap's shield.

"You know what this is?"

"Perfectly level."

Was least impressed by Scarlett, I think Cheadle did fine, I liked Howard Stark's personality being fleshed out and so similar to Tony's. Hammer was interesting, very anxious character. Rourke of course rocks. The end battle was plenty long enough, are people not taking into account all the drones as part of it??? :huh It was like 20 minutes.

Oh and Im a huge fan of Gary Shandling show and Larry Sanders so I enjoyed him as the senator.

Given time this may even surpass the first one for me.

Oh yea, and Whiplash was awesome, I couldn't believe how brutal the fights were, was not expecting that.

Hey quick question, when they are taking Stark to see Ivan after the Grand Prix, looked like they were also booking/arresting someone else in the backround, like taking a mugshot of someone. Was that any kind of a referance I missed to another villain or anything.

Caught this at midnight last night. Enjoyed most of it. Wasn't as good as the original. Rourke was underused and Pepper just nagged too much. I do feel the final battle was too short. The drones were just fodder for Tony and Rhodes to lay to waste, and Whiplash was defeated in like one minute. Very bummed over that.

Also, not enough AC/DC! I felt cheated. They could have at least thrown in 'War Machine' during the back to back fight with the drones. At least we got two songs, I guess.

I thought the movie was great. Completely on par with the first in my opinion, and I may have even liked it slightly more. I don't feel like it was an prequel for the Avengers at all. I think the amount of references to the Avengers was about the same as you get in regular comics.

The final battle didn't bother me at all. After they finished the drones I was actually a little annoyed that they still had to deal with whiplash. I get a little bored with superhero fights when they last two long. I felt like we got a good IM Whiplash fight in Monaco and I really don't think even with armor he was going to be able to take on and have a good fight with IM and WM.
