Yeah...nope. They can keep this one.
I got a couple Batman B&W statues in the collection, but I won't be adding any more statues.

This is just the beginning...
I don't mind, I like Iron Man. Just wish they wouldn't forget about their other announced projects.. Seems like whenever there's a blockbuster around the corner, like TA, TDKR and now IM3.. They drop everything else on the floor and put in all of their efforts to those blockbusters.. I can't blame them, they are a business, not a charity.
You know it's not even close to being done.
They'll show the new and improved War Machine 2.0 with Rhodey head as well as Iron Patriot and Mandarin. Hell, aren't there Marks we haven't even seen?
Ain't seen nothing yet.
Considering how the prices of the figures keep rising, I can already see this happening for some people.
Statues aren't that bad (or perhaps in this case it's actually more or less correct to call it a Scale Figure). I think people are overreacting on this because they can't wait for the actual figure to come out (or they just want other releases). With the IM line growing so big and more expensive by the numbers, all I see is that IM fans are simply getting a bit more variety, and I find that there's nothing really wrong with that.
I wish I could go back in time and drop baby Kevin Feige off in some third world country where he had no hope of ever making movies, then maybe we wouldn't have any of this ****. ****, I'm a DC fan, anyway, so what would I have cared if all we got was the Fox garbage?

And I don't remember seeing any complaints from you about "same old crap" when Hot Toys pumped out Batman crap month after month last summer. Weren't vehicles, Gordon, Cosbabies, Joker, 1/6 and 1/4 Batman, Bane and Catwoman shown almost simultaneously, week after week?
really not seeing an issue here. its a new line separate from the 1/6 scale that they have been known for making. its not meant to complete with anything else they are doing...its just a branching out of what specialty markets ht's can cater too.
statues not your thing? dont buy it...no one is forcing you to "like" vinyl statues or busts.
they know there is a movie right around the corner and are striking while the property hits a new spike and resurgence. every company that makes merchandise does this.
whats the big deal here?
I meant companies focus more on profitable market segments,
while they weed out unprofitable customers who are too costly to serve
in the long run.
Just some stuff I'm lifting from this Marketing101 book I'm reading.
If he wasn't making it, someone else would.

Iron Man > Batman
Hot Toys is weeding you out, Nova.
I'm not the only one, they're weeding out nearly everyone who wants/buys things that aren't from ACU, Batman and Predator.
If only they didn't announce they're making them, then we wouldn't expect them
_______
So will this power pose series extend beyond iron man? Perhaps to well Batman i guess
Bias much.
I wouldn't have as much of a problem, but this is ****ing ridiculous, and it makes the super-milked Nolan Batman line look like a lightweight in comparison.
Don't ooooh me; you ***** more than I do. Go back to obsessing over the Ani-Com pics of Professor X.
