I wasn't that impressed with the trailer. An Iron Man army, really? Something that seems like it would be so cool just isn't. I don't care who you're fighting, no one would stand a chance. I also think the Mandarins voice is awful.

If you've read the comics then youd know that Extremis enhanced bad guys are very tough to fight, practically unstoppable. In the Haunted story arc Mandarin creates a mini army of Extremis humans that have super human strength, speed and invulnerability. These Iron Man armors are in for a hell of a fight if thats the case.
Im guessing it will be Mandarin, Coldblood, Killian and a lot of soldiers all pumped up with a powerful strain of the Extremis virus.

So the entire plot, from what I've gathered, is that Tony smokes fat blunts to help him sleep, but this one dealer is going after Tony's dealer (the dude in the red and white iron man costume). And in order for Tony to start sleeping again is to help his dealer fight this big lebowski/gimli looking guy so he can go back to sleep.

There's no way it's just Mandarin vs. an Iron Man Army. I'm curious to know Killian's involvement, and particularly about that one shot of him walking into that room with about 6-8 people harnessed to some sort of machines? Which happen to look just like the harness that Pepper is in when she looks to be in pain?

I think thats an extremis enhanced Killian with his shirt off at throwing Iron Man around like a toy at the 1:47 mark in the trailer. Either him or Coldblood.
I think all those strapped to the machines are about to have the extremis and Pepper will most likely be kidnapped and strapped in there about to be transformed as well.
Lots of new figures for Hot Toys, that would be a crazy collection.

Yep that has to be someone with Extremis in them, superhuman strength.
A single punch from Mallen in the extremis comic breached Iron Mans armor and broke most of his ribs, thats the kind of thing he'll be up against in Iron Man 3, basically super humans. Think Captain Americas Super Soldier serum x10.
