So i'd say the Iron Man trilogy is on par with most other superhero trilogies.

It had one great film in Iron Man (Spider-Man 2, X2, The Dark Knight, Blade)

One bad film in Iron Man 2 (Spider-Man 3, X-Men 3, TDKR, Blade Trinity)

And one good film in Iron Man 3 (Spider-Man, X-Men, Batman Begins, Blade 2)

While most others start of good, achieve the best on the second outing and falter at the end, Iron Man is the first to start off the best, falter on the second outing and improve with the last.

I agree with this assessment. Mind you I can still enjoy some of these 'bad' films, I just agree that they are the worst of their respective series.

Agreed, apart from batman begins. Awesome film.

I sometimes feel like I'm alone in actually liking Iron Man 2.

I'll admit it doesn't rise to the level of Iron Man or the Avengers, but it was enjoyable enough. I certainly wouldn't put it into the same category as train wrecks like Spiderman 3 or X-Men 3....

You're not alone. I like Iron man 2.

Agreed, It's no where near as bad as those too. I quite enjoy IM2 actually.

You are not alone. I really like Iron Man 2. In fact, this is the only place I see people talking bad about it.

Internet Movie Database is also rated by fanboys, idiots, racists, *******s, morons, uber fanboys, uber trolls, and racist idiot fanboy delusional dweeb ******* uber trolls.

So. Nothing on that site can be taken with a grain of salt. Especially opinions of anyone there.

Nope it's rated by a cross section of the active Internet population

The racists and fanboys are the ones who've taken over the comments section which most people don't use.

Anyway - take metacritic instead, TDKR still scores a very healthy 78 versa 82 for TDK

I watched 2 yesterday and enjoyed it alot more than the last time I watched it. The Mark VI suit kicked *** during the final fight too.

Don't defend IMDB. Please. It's not worth your time.

People rate movies 1's and 10's without seeing it. Most do this. It's a well known fact.

May 3, this Friday.

Not THAT bad, but still... everyone is out talking about it, discussing it and I'm just sitting here, avoiding threads.

The tickets haven't even gone up for sale yet here. :gah:
