Are you just going to cry because he won't dance with a ninja wanna be chick on a teeter totter? jesus, some peoples kids. :lol
You've gone on and on about this like the first Daredevil was anything but a joke, deal with it, in 2036 the 2nd one wouldn't have been any better.

That scene was incredibly stupid. And yes i do want a new Daredevil movie :wave

See, this is what troubles Disney: when kids ask: Dad, what's a P U SS Y? Or start running around the house chanting: Son-of-a-*****!

I swear, everywhere we go these days all I hear in public is swearing. At the mall, at the baseball game, you name it. And not just guys, it's women too and sometimes they're even worse.

We're at a Padres game last year and a young guy and girl are sitting right behind us. Every other word out of her mouth is ****** this and ****** that - right in our ears. I finally turned and asked her to knock it off.

Then she says "Oh, sorry, I have twin 5 year olds. Guess I should know better".

ya think???

They say it in the new Star Trek trailer too. Makes me cringe every time, as I'd prefer my 7 year old not talking like Tony Stark. But they have to throw in 6-7 swear words into each PG13 movie so people will like it I guess...

I don't know, that could be highly Youtubable, may even end up on Ellen with the Minaj twins. :lol

I didn't have a problem with it but I was pretty surprised he said son of a ***** so clearly. The p u s s y thing didn't seem as big of a deal. I don't know, I don't care but I'm really surprised. They must've fought to get those lines in.

Dad, what's the "flipper trick"?

Then have your son or daughter do this to you,

Me too, but the only thing I'd want saved from movie one is the suit, I actually thought they did a nice job on it. Wouldn't mind Collin Farrel playing Bullseye again, but give him a real costume for christsakes. :gah:

I thought the suit was alright too but a lot of people hated on it. :dunno I wouldn't mind a sequel simply because I don't care to see the origin again. They could just move the story way past the events of the first movie

I wouldn't mind that either, but I am sure Marvel would want to start fresh now that its in their hands. I would love to see them tackle some of the street level hero's with as much vigor as they're doing the Avengers and friends.

Origins being re-told isn't just to screw over fans of the character, it's two-fold

1. For the kids, they probably never saw the origins of these characters from the decade old previous movies.
2. To set it apart from previous movie adaptions continuity.

Then those kids can go back and watch those movies.

Or watch these,

Just saw IM3 and I enjoyed it. I wanted more Iron Man suit and action and not Tony Stark though. It was more like watching Tony Stark as a spy/secret agent, and didn't feel like an IM/superhero movie till the end.

Surprising to me how many people are saying that (it felt like Tony not Iron Man) after they've been saying for months that Stark will "lose everything and have to rely on his wits" and the fact that we saw his house and all of his suits get blown to bits in all of the trailers.

I've seen it twice and didn't feel that way at all. The main thing that I was bummed about was the fact that Iron Patriot was basically a high tech taxi in the movie.

I always wonder - at what point do the Actors themselves get to see the final cut, and what do they think of it? I mean, did Don Cheadle see the movie for the first time and think WTF, where are the IP battle scenes?

They joked so much about the lame IP name that it would've been a huge pay off had Stark made Rhodey another WM for the final battle.

I'm ok with Stark losing his armor, but using too many drones makes IM less unique and special.

What the hell with the throw away line at the end when Stark says he made PP all better, no more extremis. Ahhhh, ok.

He got rid of her mess rather quickly after she conveniently had it to save his ***.

The end? You mean when Stark tech was proven all but pedestrian and Super Pepper saved the day? That's not my idea of an Iron Man movie.

The end of this movie actually reminded me of ERASER (a fun flick that I dig) with its nonsensical action and one-liners throughout. The setting is even pretty much the same.

This movie is fun and entertaining and has its moments... But it was way too much of an unnecessary left-turn for me. I do think the haters are overreacting a bit, though. It's not truly awful. It's not Batman & Robin. It's more like TDKR with a bit of Spider-Man 3 sprinkled in.

If that was a left turn, TDKR was a drive off a cliff. :lol

I know all that. Yet somehow James Bond and Indiana Jones and many other heroes got along for years without "origin stories".

Especially when kids today have so many outlets to catch up on origin stories before the actual film. I say: get to it already. I can catch up on your origin along the way, dude. Just thrust me into an adventure.

Just saw this today. I can see why people were upset with the "twist", but ya know what I love about these IM movies? I love Stark's humor and I love the evolution of the tech. This was by far the funniest of the 3, but I didn't feel it took away from the serious parts of the story cause that's just how RDJ plays Stark. It would've been nice to see more of the IM suits. Some of the extremis stuff felt weird, like the ending, but that was the only thing that felt kind of whack to me. I enjoyed this one as much as the other 2.
