Wow no love for dredd 3d whatsoever. Not in the top 20 that could put dread behind wolverine origins, last stand, punisher, Jonah hex, daredevil and ghost rider. There is only like 30 total right??

I need to see it, so I abstain from having any opinions on it. I'm also trying to keep my inner geek in control when it comes to MoS. So hyped for this one.

I'll try to keep this to a top 5. I generally enjoy most super-hero/comic book movies, so if it's not on here, doesn't mean I didn't like it (except IM3...hated that).

1. Spider-Man 1 - admittedly, doesn't hold up that well compared to more recent movies, but this one gets tops for many nostalgic reasons.

Even though we had X Men and Blade before all this, I remember watching Spiderman 1 in theaters and it blew me away. I think it was the first huge financially successful superhero flick and the reason we are getting all these great films today.

If not for Blade 1 doing well there would've been no X1.

W/o X1 doing well.....

Rest is history.

X1 always gets the credit.

I guess so, the opening rave scene in Blade is one of my favorite hero entrance/fight scenes.

I actually liked the new Dredd, and I hope for whatever slim chance there is for a sequel.

Off topic, I really like the soundtrack for this film. From the appropriate Blue (da ba dee) opening for 1999 to the Christmas stuff to even the actual Iron Man themes, it's all great. I especially love the end credits theme. Like Jye said, a lot of cool 60s vibes.
