well we saw in Avengers that Loki was able to talk and project an image of himself to the Chitauri leader while still on earth. so Loki could slightly nudge Selvig into talking that position to work on the cube at one of the SHIELD bases

I believe whatever Loki was using to keep in contact with "The Other" (the chitauri hooded guy) was being used to influence Selvig. Which I think was the scepter? Somehow the scepter is powered by the cube as mentioned. They mention the cube is a doorway as well. Not necessarily just for physical bodies to pass through, but mind controlling influence as well.

Iron Man hasn't exaclty got alot of Villains to exploit and yet they're shortening that by merging villains like Whiplash/Dynamo and Killian/Mandarin

Good thing 95% of the people paying out haven't ever heard of any of Iron Man's villains, they'll have no idea whether a villain has been around for 40 years or was made up for a new movie.

Spiderman 2 is either second or third with X-Men: First Class. Then I'd probably put the first Spiderman in fourth.

I honestly don't care much for the Avengers films.

When I first saw Captain America: TFA I loved it, but now I'm thinking I was just caught up in the hype because after watching it for the second and third time, it just doesn't hold up for me. I was never impressed with Thor. Ironman 2 outright sucked. The Incredible Hulk on the other hand I really enjoyed. People are always saying how terrible it is though and I haven't watched it in few years. Need to check it out again and see if it really is as bad as people claim. One thing I really liked about it was the tone. Thor/Cap: TFA/Avengers are just so cheesy and gaudy whereas I felt TIH was generally more dark, serious and dramatic. And lastly, the Avengers is a good movie, yet not nearly deserving of the praise it gets.

Ironman was just perfect though IMO.

I like about half of the ACU ones. Iron Man is excellent, for me though the last third wanes and i didn't like Monger much. Easily the best origin though
