Guys I may be way off base here and please let me know if I am. Isn't this the Jabba image thread. If so I see more talk and not enough images. Please lets see more interesting pictures and less talk. I do understand the talk of environment. But I dont understand debates and how it is relevent. More pictures. I will also post more pics. Lets just keep this threat what it is. Interesting pics of Jabba. Thanks guys! Again sorry if I make you mad.

Well it took forever, but I've finally gotten my office back to presentable after my emergency Jabba rearrangement. I've now got the slug displayed atop my vintage kenner collection... and I'm pretty happy with it.

Love the Kenners keep them coming Galatic!

I know where you're coming from BadMoon, but at the same time, these are discussion threads not galleries so chat is sure to follow, we aren't ignoring the premise of the thread, but pictures take time and effort where discussion can be had in a flash, I post comments in 2 seconds when I get the chance, and the discussion strayed a lil far from Jabba, but it started relative to rounding off the Jabba setup with a great Leia, so it has some merit to it.

Thanks guys! I'm real happy I've finally got a way to display them. I love the vintage figures, but its always been hard to figure out display options.

And love the hookah photos badmoon, especially the ones with (surprise) the Kenners!

Just as a refresher of what a Triad body is and what Sideshow should top.

Those elbows look awful when exposed and do not look natural.

But they still look better than double jointed ones. I don't think any body will ever be perfect for 1/6 but the Triad (and similar styles) are so much better for exposed limbs. I'm okay (mostly) with Sideshow body since its usually pretty well covered. But I'm confident we'll see a new basebody this year, and definitely before the start releasing SW figures like slave Leia.

Here is my Jabba set up. Keep in mind Greedo is a place holder. I have 2 more Jawa's on the way. I also have 2 repainted Gamorrien Guards I am waiting for from CustomMikey as well as the RAH Fett still coming. SS Leia still coming and I will fit the GG slave Leia statue in there somehow. And then Bubo as well.

I think that's the first set-up I've seen that actually has room for expansion. I wish I did.

Sorry for the delay on posting specs on my stairs, and thanks for all your kind words. I've had a friend in from New England so I've been elsewhere. I plan to make a detailed write-up of materials, measurements and procedure in the next day or so.

I also trepanned a Jawa (or is that trephinated?). ;D

Yeah, he's one of my figures from when I was younger... and who knows where that got to All in all, I'm missing Yoda's cane, a couple of the standard blue blasters and an ewok spear and bow. Not too bad overall, and I'm hoping I can find replacements at some point.

Wow...very inspiring! I really like those stairs, sir....so much so that I'm off to the craft store for some materials! They look great!
