Got on the waitlist for this beauty last week and have paid off a third of it. Hopefully, I'll have it fully paid off by November. Money well spent IMHO.

Just got an email regarding shipping cost, definitely doing the default sea freight shipping for my Batmobile. Still gonna cost $212 and take a few months in transit time. If the DHL option wasn't so much more, I'd probably go that route, but $500 shipping is nearly half the cost of this toy car. . .
I think I'm second batch though, so I got time to plan where its gonna go.

Is that shipping to Europe?

I'd love to have gotten this over the HT, but it was simply too expensive. And even larger! But man, i just love this car and i really wish i could afford this i know that it blows the HT away and I've got the inferior product. But honestly, HT suits me fine. I've got the big lego model too and that looks amazing, I've got in hot wheels, die cast, i got many many 89 batmobiles that the HT one being innacurate (and apparently too short, i thought it was too long) is just fine for me. I'd love to get the 60s and forever batmobile but ik those are no chances lol. Tumbler i don't think I'd ever get, i do not like that vehicle lmao.

Thanks for the insight regarding shipping.

My order says due for November 30th shipping, just about paid off on it.

$212 USD sea shipping but it will take a few months? Personally I’d rather eat the extra $288 USD and get it quickly and safely in two to three weeks than to worry about something of this cost and magnitude hanging anywhere for months.

It’s peace of mind for me, a collectible I’m already going to be $1.8K invested in, I’d want as quickly as possible transit time.

To me, for this, what’s $288 more. I’m also eager to see it in person, and months added onto the one month of seeing others get theirs ahead will just tease.

I wonder what "a few months" actually means. Is that 2 months...is it 5? Hopefully Joost can weigh in on this sometime.

Looks like a few folks in JazzInc’s facebook groups are getting invoices for the final shipping payment. Shipping begins early September.

Anyone here live in the US and receive their final invoice?

What’s the expected delivery time frame in the US by cargo ship? I’m hearing 45 days. That’s a long time but air freight would be double the shipping price.

Edit: Just read the previous page. I didn’t expect such a long turn around but also can’t see myself paying an extra $250+, I have other hobbies to deal with.

I got charged today for shipping to the US but it says on my order page that it wont ship out until the end of October.

I just got a shipping notification... sadly it's just for a signature plate...

Did you use the sea shipping option? How much was it to the US.

the cheaper sea shipping will ship directly from the factory, wherever that's located. Does Joost have them assembled in China?

Seems it's that way for this? I don't recall the previous vehicles getting completed in China. I'm just wondering if the shipping by air from Netherlands will end up cheaper or will everything have to go out from China going forward?

I remember @JazzInc saying there was cheaper sea shipping option and the price was lower because they can ship it directly from the factory and it's traveling a shorter distance to the US.

Maybe Joost can clear this up regarding the previous shipping method and air shipping.

The air shipping from Netherlands is definitely not cheaper by sea from China. What I'm hoping for is that it is cheaper by air from Netherlands compared to air from China, at least for the east coast since the distance is half.

My Batmobile’s ETA moved up from December 30th to November 30th. I ordered pretty late - the first week it went to waitlist. :woo
