Fine if you don't believe me. :lol, but i'd like to find out what kind of grade A entertainment you get out of Shindler's List. :lol

I'm here all night. :lol

But what's wrong with film as an art form? I mean, even entertainment movies have a good amount of artistic merit to them. They're artful in their ability to succeed in entertainment. You got a Cap sig. Cap was an amazing movie to me. Every second was magic. Joe Johnston hit that out of the park.

It takes skill to make a good flick. To make you feel something. Weather it's feeling excited, angry, sad, whatever. I just don't like you puttin that down man. :lol

I'm too damned tired to discuss anything beyond two sentences. :lol

It's been a long day. It's time for a shower

and then off to bed

Nothing like waking up and dropping the kids off at the pool then a nice shower. From there on the day just doesn't seem so tough.

To each their own. When Dune came out in 1984 Siskel and Ebert said it was the worst movie they'd seen all year. I LOVE David Lynch's take on the Frank Herbert masterpiece. I see the art Lynch was trying to paint with maybe the greatest sci-fi novel of all time as his canvas.
When The Fellowship of the Ring came out Roeper hated it. He found it hard to follow. Ebert professionally tore him a new one. By the time The Return of the King came out Roeper had changed his tune.

Find what you love and love it to death. That's how I see it.

^ Correct.

Although, I do love around the internet when a film such as John Carter is panned, and everyone hates critics. But when a film is getting good reviews, everyone is like "SEE! SEE! IT IS GOOD! SEE THEY LOVE IT!"

:lol

IMDB is a fickle place.

I just returned from a 3D viewing of the film, I enjoyed it. It didn't have any new or unexpected pieces but what was delivered was a fun, entertaining film. (The kicker for me) I was drawn into the relation enough between JC and the princess to keep my attention hoping for a fairy tale ending :monkey3 :lol

I admit, I haven't read any of the stories but I didn't guess the ending right away which is another plus. A solid 6.5 / 10.

Yeah I haven't read the stories either and the ending was a surprise for me as well. I really loved it.

Saw it last night in IMAX 3-D. I enjoyed it. Very solid film. I, too, liked the ending. If there is no sequel though, then that'll hurt the ending to this film. I was dying to know how Mars and the princess dealt with what happened at the end for 10 years.

7/10 for me as well. Didn't blow me away, but enjoyed it much more than I thought i would.
