Just saw the movie and thought it was superb, Iron Man is my new favorite Marvel Superhero, Robert Downey Jr gives a fantastic performance as Stark/Iron Man :chew
First up I think one of the main things that will attract someone to the film is the kick ass suit design which looked awesome in the comic books and is amazing in the film
I would recommend the film to anyone of all ages and people who like a new twist on the superhero movies, the twist being Stark's biological build is not changed/altered like in films such as SpiderMan or Fantastic Four. Those of you who have recently been going to the movies and been disappointed that a film either is too short or drags on too long well I think that Iron Man is a good length so that you don't get bored or annoyed that the film ended too quickly the film being just a little over two hours.
Id give it 9 out of 10. 9 Being because it left me wanting more in a sequel(s)
I want to see Stark's character developed more and mainly want to see more of Iron Man, the film made me want my own Iron Man power suit 
, the film overall being a really fun movie and a solid adaption

) After a short walk through the desert Stark is found by the American Army, within hours Tony is at a Press Conference where he announces Stark Industries will immediately cease the manufacturing of Weapons as his captivity has been an eye opener. The Evil Obadiah Stane who is a partner in Stark Industries does not like this so he tells Tony to stay out of the publics eye. This gives Tony time too design and build Mach 2 which has a few mishaps along the way 
In the end Tony 'Adds some Hot Rod Red' to the suit thus Mach 3. Tony goes to a corporate party where he learns that Stane has been selling weapons to the very terrorists that kidnapped him. Knowing this Tony gears up in the Mach 3 where he travels to Afghanistan to destroy the terrorist weapon ( this part of the film is awesome here we learn a few capabilities of the suit and how high tech the suit is and some cool action scenes I might add) also this is where the US army learns of Iron Man and tries to take him out which ultimately Stark ends up saving one of their air force pilots. 
but seriously in sequels Tony can be developed more with his love life, alcoholism and his life in the suit also sequels will give an awesome opportunity for more awesome villains
