Saw Iron Man tonight. Loved it. But I'd already seen it, I just didn't know it yet. Here is the problem with modern movie advertising campaigns... Too many clips, too many different versions of the trailer, TV spots... all that stuff. I saw the movie tonight and I've seen it already... Any of you who have watched all the internet clips etc, You've all seen it, and you know you have and you will be that little bit disappointed as I was. Not because the movie wasn't good, but because you've already seen most of the "so money" scenes...

As of this day forth I will not watch any clips for up and coming movies bar the cinema released trailers! Because everything else spoiles the the movie/cinema/1st viewing experience!:angelsmil

Did no one else watch after the credits???

Nick Fury anyone?

SLJ???

:chew:chew:chew

And the Avengers Initiative...

I wasn't going to stay after the film finished but the Animation Art that went with the Credits was great after the Credits finished.............................. Tony goes home to find Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) in his house asking if he knows about the "Avengers Initiative". :horror

Thank you so much for mentioning this. I often miss these little things because I walk out after the film officially ends.

One hour and fifteen before i take my seat.Ca nt remember the last time i was so anxious to see a film.

Going again Saturday with my girlfreind.

LOL...It was mentioned 2 or 3 times in the thread, BH. Very cool news!

He is supposed to be in Hulk also along with Iron Man.

Edit - I just saw that it is showing tonight here. I will be there.

My eyes no work now...:lol:lol:lol

It's such a good film...

Isn't Nick Fury White:confused::confused:

Black, WHite, Asian it doesn't bother me
It was the same with I AM Legend in the Book Robert Neville was White but in the film he was played by Will Smith, I heard that Keanu Reeves was meant to play Neville but I would rather see Will Smith instead of Reeves
Too me its not the skin colour but the Acting

Not the Nick Fury from the Ultimate Marvel universe. That Nick Fury was specifically drawn to SLJ's likeness.

Awesome movie, a lot better than the last few Marvel had to offer. Story, acting & SFX are outstanding (and with ever second of armor on screen, I thought more and more of Hot Toys' Iron Man to come :naughty).

I just want War Machine to be in the next one...hints throughout the film...

"Maybe next time..."

YES!!!

Saw this on Wednesday, as it had previews here in Sweden then. BEST MARVEL MOVIE EVER! :joy Beating Spiderman 2, in my opinon. Not sure with X-Men 2, maybe a tie.
The only gripe I have is the Burger King "the ONLY choice after you have been a POW"-product placement, when he gets back. Groan...
Yes, it's an origin movie, but the best one yet. It takes it's time and never feels rushed. You need 2 hours with an origin movie, not 1 hour 30 min.
After seeing the end credits scene, I'm thinking it's a shame we won't see the FF in this universe, (I would love a scene with Tony Stark and Reed Richards in a lab) since Fox botched that one, unless they buy it back and do a rethinking like the Hulk. A movie that makes me nervous, because I hate the Transporter movies. But lets wait and see. Dark Knight looks great though, but thats DC. :)
