Cap wants YOU to join HYDRA!

When did Trump dance like that with the glasses on? That's hilarious.

Ah, good ol'Nick. The liberals hate him for HYDRA-Cap and that Sam Wilson issue, the conservatives hate him for his half assed political commentary. And /pol/ hates him 'cause of Sam Wilson as Cap, in general. He's been called a cuck, a traitor and a Nazi. Gotta feel a little bit sorry for the guy...

I don't. He's pushing his political agenda on a beloved character.

Could he be the one that unites us all?

You are, but thats just the way nature is, everthing decays and degenerates until it dies, then the universe restarts, big bounce, we are close to the end in cosmic time.

Ahhh pondering our mortality, ancient Hindu philosophy and physics, only possible in a Snyder thread, thank you master for expanding our minds.

I don't read comics or follow their politics closely anymore (though it was hard to ignore the fascist Frank Miller nonsense he's come up with in recent times), but. . .politics has always been a part of comics. Wonder Woman was the creation of a defender of women's rights. Captain America was an American propaganda device during World War 2. The X-Men was a veiled statement in support of the civil rights movement. And politics and culture saturate all the work of Alan Moore, the greatest comic book writer. Warren Ellis, Mark Millar, and numerous others have been pretty explicit in the way that politics pervades their stories, as well. So, nothing really new here, apart from the fact that these guys may be more ham-fisted in their approach than were their predecessors.
