Honestly, would you even want to see it at this point?

Killing Superman off in BvS and even including Doomsday ruined any potential MoS 2 anyway.

Yes, the death and resurrection of Superman were ruined by BVS and JL, but I'd like a proper continuation to MOS. I really liked that film, and I felt that by the end, we got the JL Superman/Clark, but BVS ruined it.

So since Cavil is still under contract for one more film, a self contained story would be nice. Nothing too big, no alien invasion or Lex Luthor again, but instead a character who can be interesting, and a physical threat. Maybe, Mister Mxyzptlk but that could be too weird for the general audience, so Parasite, Bizarro or Lobo.

The Elite would be cool too, because they are a group of "cool" antiheroes, and they sort of put into question everything that Superman stands for, which "truth, justice, and the American way."

Keep dreaming. :lol

Is that a HT doll under the raw chicken?

lol

Is that Henry and his dog??

:lol :lol :lol

All I know is that Power Rangers has a better cinemascore than JL lol

One thing I did like were those 3 palpatine like sorcerers in hoods near the mother boxes during the flashback story they were pretty cool looking for the 6 seconds they were on screen.

So Steppenwolf is killed by Darkseid in the original script?

I finally saw this. I think I liked it! Did not love it. It was not particularly well made in terms of technical execution. In terms of the acting, writing, all that stuff, it felt like a network TV show. Somehow Marvel can take a comparable budget a squeeze a much higher quality product out of it. But it had moments that were pretty well done, such as Flash's speed force effect.

On the acting front, Affleck did a good job, but he didn't seem very motivated. Aqua-bro and Wonder Woman were what I expected--nothing special, but they did what they needed to I guess. Cyborg actually exceeded expectations, at being able to emote pretty well in a low key way early on. But toward the second half of the film he become more of a generic, one-dimensional character. Flash though. Disaster. Much, much worse than I expected. Going in, I had hopes that he might be the saving grace of the film, but everything he did was cringe-worthy. He was like Luthor in this universe, but cranked up, stupider, and less funny.

Superman was OK. Best he's been in any film so far, though there's still a ways to go. I dug the post-credit allusion to the races he had with Flash. I kinda do want to see a competent director who understands the real essence of this character tackle a Man of Steel part 2 with this guy.

Villain was probably the most generic villain in any superhero movie yet, which is saying something. And nothing else needs to be said about it really. Second post-credits scene was cool, and surprising since only a fraction of audience goers will have any idea who that guy is. I'm not thrilled with the costume design, but would expect nothing else.

I went in with the expectation that this was nothing more than a glorified Saturday morning cartoon, and I think that was appropriate. Superficial, kind of stupid in many ways, with one-dimensional characters, and extremely predictable. But some good action sequences. Some of it was fun. Some promise for the future if they could just get their act fully together with some more competent filmmakers helming the ship.

This would probably be the worst of all the Marvel Studios films if it was made there, but in the WB DC-verse, it's second only to Wonder Woman. So, pivoting slowly in the right direction!

Green Lantern cameo was really nice, also!

Watch Coco kick JL out of the 1st spot lol

That's just sad the freaking JL.
Having seen both, this would certainly be warranted. Coco was a far superior film.

And BR 2049...?

I liked it. I did not love it. I am not one of the ones who thought it was better then the original.

IMO it was much too long when it did not need to be.

It was visually stunning.

I know the same thing can be said about the original BUT I grew up with the original and the original had all that Rain :lol

I think when I see it again I will like it more.. My expectations were through the roof due to the word of mouth here and the reviews so I was expecting something a little more I guess.

ESB is king. But like all kings, can be dethroned.

ESB was never king.. JAWS rules over the Empire :)

I go back and forth on whether I think ESB has been dethroned by the theatrical cut of FOTR. Sometimes I think ESB is best, sometimes FOTR. It's hard for to imagine a film (especially another SW movie) dethroning *both* of them but hey there's no harm in trying. As long as TLJ is at least as good as ROTJ then I'll be happy.

Empire and Star Wars rule over Fellowship but Fellowship is right behind them. I actually like the Extended cut better but just for the extra action bits :)

I am keeping expectations for TLJ in check.. Its hard to.. I want to jump on the hype train.. Reviews will probably send me over the top.. But after TFA I don;t want to be burned again.. It looks better but in all honesty JJ coming back for the last film has ruined a lot of my excitement for this series. :(
