V1 is what pjam, DekDave and Coco got. Right around then, we had some discussions in here about the cowl and Shawn revised it which delayed the second batch that I was in, but for the best. I guess your old one would be v0.

I want Wor-Gar's V0 Bats.

I finally got around to making a frame for my Batman comic. Now I'm going to have to redesign a new display case to accomodate another Joker with drippy face and a custom Keaton as Bruce Wayne(if ABC actually ships them out soon) as well as the bashed Bats I'm working on. Oh yeah, and the V0 Wor-Gar is gonna sell me.

Love the case man... they look killer under glass. And thats a great comic, I remember really enjoying it back in the day. Doesn't it have a part in the end where Knox is found in the bat suit which helps throw the police off of Waynes trail?

Yeah, Knox is found kinda laying under the cowl and cape as Batman sneaks away from the scene. It really is a great comic adaptation of the movie.

Does it have a more rigid cover? I seem to remember a more expensive version... but I could be totally wrong. But I agree with you, thats a great looking cover.

It does have a slightly thicker cover. The colors are more vibrant too, the other one looks almost washed out.

Here's the progression as best I can recall:

Original.......... urethane armor, standard Billiken face sculpt and skinny neck. Resin head. I made them that way from about 2002 when I first started making them to late 2006. This was PRE Freaks deal.

V2......... I decided I didn't like the Billiken grin, thought he should look more serious. I sculpted a new face, but stuck with the rest of the specs from V1. These changes happened PRE Freaks, but carried over into the first three figures on the list. This ran from the start of 07 (roughly) to around October 07.

V3....... wider neck and modified cowl/logo junction. Rest of the specs stayed the same. I don't recall how many Freaks got this version. This was also the point where I altered the belt color and the background of the logo with Les Walker's help. Those colors became standard from this point on. V3 was short lived; October to maybe November 07.

V4...... switched to latex armor, gloves, boots and cowl. Retained all the same sculptural elements. This is the current version, November 07 to today.

So really, I guess what we've all agreed is V3 is actually V4 . But I don't think a very slight chin modification justifies the added confusion of a V5

Great looking returns figure Shawn, if i could just make one suggestion. The armor (especially the chest area) on the returns figure should be a bit more curved but it's a great looking figure.


About the 89 bats, i'm a bit confused wich is the current one on this pic?
