Nobody will pay $800?? You may want to look at the shields that have sold on ebay over the last year. The guy I bought mine from has at least sold over 50 at around $700 each. The spun aluminium shields with proper brackets often sell close to the 1k range. And they are all not licensed.

My spun shield was not quite $700, that includes nearly $100 international shipping. And it looks like this:

You really think this Lager one looks $200 better? And the engrish isn't helping but "Wonderful metal lining" and "metal feel" doesn't jive with "Material :Fully metal + Real leather" either. I highly doubt this thing is a solid hewn slab of metal. Their Mjolnir was great because it looked pretty good (minus the heft) for a fraction of the cost of the premium ones. This shield costs as much or more than the premium ones and doesn't look the part. Maybe someone will pay $900+ for this but it sure won't be me.

Yeah I made my own spun one too, they look so much better. Mine was $500, for everything, shield shipping and brackets

Mine was 630 without shipping and it did not have the brackets like Rocbolts. I have those brackets coming and they were around 225 and the shield identification plastic piece was like 25. The prices on ebay have gone up significantly since I got mine. One like Rocbolts hit over 3k.
Some guy in Australia is doing them and charging close to 1k.

Personally, I think $800 for a metal shield ain't that bad.

I know what you mean, it looks like an enlarged version of the Hot Toys shield, still pretty nifty though

No need to go metal if you are going to display it. Just make it fiber glass, metal finishing and that is it! You would pay half of the price and would sell many more units.

The Lager Toys shield is available now on pre-order. Release June or July depending where you look. The price is the same from all sources. US$1100. I really didn't think it would reach that level. Wow !!
