Why does the onering.net have a poll asking who would win Smaug or Godzilla? Is that even a fight. Whats also funny is people say smaug would win becuase he can fly and breath fire. Did the LOTR fandom all just watch the 98 film and call it a day?

I dont know they didnt seem to have much knowledge on godzilla at all. Some did but most of them kept saying Smaug would win since he uses fire and flies and im sitting there just baffled.

So he will know that he is about to get raped by Godzilla'a spiked tail.

Doesn't King Ghidorah fly and breath fire? Like 3 times cause he has 3 heads? WTH And doesn't Godzilla defeat him all the time?

I have to say that I think I am going to be a little pissed about Godzilla's lack of screen time. If this was our first encounter with him then fine... But we know what he looks like. We know who he is. Now if there is plenty of MUTO action I think I can forgive it a bit... But if Godzilla is given the equivalent screen time as Hulk did in the avengers then I am going to be

Even the good reviews have said Godzilla is not in it much.... That is disheartening. I don't need monster on monster fighting... But how about some Godzilla vs Military action?

Well I have not seen it yet so I can't really say. But greygoose saying that he liked it and did not love it is worrisome to me. I want to love this film. Are my expectations high? Damn straight they are... The trailers have killed... But this lack of Godzilla thing may sink the film in the long run for me

But I will give my 100% honest Godzilla fan opinion after I see this tomorrow.

I hope I feel the same way... You didn't think Godzilla was in it too little.... How much total screen time would you say he gets?? Do they at least tease him plenty in other parts of the film... I will be excited to see a foot here a dorsal fin there as long as there is plenty of good teasing.

I'm looking at tomorrow negatively at the moment, cuz I'm still excited and waiting, and I'm hoping for more photos and whatever and I feel like all the outlets I check daily will just flood with nothing but opinions all weekend

He's in it 1/4 of the movie is what i'm been reading.

That's 30 minutes.

But full Godzilla is 20 minutes out of that 30 is what I read.

I'm ok with 20 minutes of full Godzilla.

Someone apparently calculated him to have about 26 minutes of screen time, which isn't bad at all, at least when you look at the history of Godzilla, he's never had a lengthy screen presence.

I don't so much care how much, though something like 5-10 minutes would be too little, I definitely care more about quality and every clip and photo I've seen so far has been pure nerdgasm fodder. I see myself feeling the other hour and a half totally worth it to get the 30 minutes of G-ness, though I think I'll like the whole movie anyway.
