Man I was like 2 posts away from having this film completely spoiled back on page 285. Glad I stopped reading.

Anyway great film, albeit sad.

Wasn't expecting Wolverine himself to die. When people were talking about it being a sad film I thought it was either Xavier dying or X23 dying or both - or just the fact that it's Jackman's last time playing the role - but I guess it shouldn't have been all that surprising given the last point.

Nothing tops The Dark Knight, I love X2 but that pales in comparison to the godly Dark Knight. I'm not even a Batman fan

Honestly I enjoyed Logan a lot, but just for my X-Men ranking:

Loved Logan, and I can see it possibly moving up the more I watch it, but it will never top X2 for me.

All that's left to further consolidate its comparability to TDK is for both Jackman and Stewart to land Nominations in January.

It's probably Jackman's best performance so far, but I doubt he'll be nominated.

I could definitely see Logan getting a best picture nomination, considering they can nominate about 10 films.

However, I'm sure some artsy-fartsy films will get nominated instead of Logan. It's the first superhero film since TDK that Ii could see getting nominated for best picture.

I'm also one of those people that wouldnt want to see Hugh in DP2, because Logan was a good end for Hugh as Wolvie. But some guy is really desperate on having Hugh in his movie. I am not a superhero kind of guy but my partner dragged me to see this today (and it's only fair, I drag him to Star Wars and other films.) I gotta say, Logan is a great addition to the X-Men franchise. It's one of, if not the best superhero films I've ever seen. I don't really have an emotional attachment to Wolverine, but the film is touching on more than one occasion. It will most likely be remembered for its action, though. There is a lot of it. I need someone to do a body count, haha. The actress newcomer is fantastic, as well. I hope she has a long career ahead of her. Overall I felt like this film makes up for the failures of the previous Wolverine films. It really is near perfect!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Hugh really goes for it in his fight scenes. You really feel like he's gonna **** you up. I've never seen him display such violence and rage as he did here. Loved the film. I was punching the air with glee watching him slice those goons up.
