I'm almost sure Liev Schreiber is returning.

I'd like to see more of the old cast return. How awesome would it be for James Marsden to show up as Cyclops again and finally get some shine.

Give Old Hawkeye's role to Cyclops, Old Emma's to Xavier, Hulk's to Sabretooth, Red Skull's to someone like, say, Graydon Creed or Bastion and you're set.

Yup, I said this before, Cyclops taking Hawkeye's role would be absolutely perfect.

I've heard a few people touch on that, it'd be great to see Marsden added on to the cast.

I'll forgive HT for skipping all the X-Men if they just give me Schreiber Creed.

Word. I just hope we get a scene where Cyke full-on lashes out with his beams ala Astonishing with the Sentinel (if he's in the movie that is). That'd be great....

This pretty much confirms OLD MAN LOGAN.

Same cut he had in the comic.

Also, the film is definitely partially set in Mexico. A casting call for Hispanic actors to play mourners at a funeral and the JUAREZ working title confirm it.

Mexico will do. I just wonder how much the story will be manipulated that they don't include Hawkeye or Red Skull. Did they confirm Sabertooth yet?

No confirmation on Sabes yet, but he is the best replacement for Hulk.

Stewart/Xavier is def in the movie, my guess is he's taking Hawkeye's role.

Rumor at the moment is that Richard E. Grant's character is Mr. Sinister who could be a solid replacement for Red Skull.

X-23 is also rumored, probably taking Spider-Woman's role.

I don't. There has yet to be a single good solo Wolverine movie. I don't think this will be the 1st. It's a shame, Jackman and this character deserve better.

Just read issue #6 of old man Logan. They really could use aspects of that series to make a good movie.

I don't. There has yet to be a single good solo Wolverine movie. I don't think this will be the 1st. It's a shame, Jackman and this character deserve better.

I didn't say it would be good, it will be better than Apoc.

I didn't like OML. The basic set up of old Logan bein' pushed into helpin' his old pal in order to save his family is good, and the postapoc feel of it was cool. Everything else felt too silly, forced, tasteless or out of place. Truth be told, I don't like Millar's superhero writing in general.

I'll have NO problem with this film if it takes only the basics of OML and creates a solid story around them.
As long as it's not as meh as "Da Wolverine".

I think the idea of it was better than the actual comic. But I will say I love how dark the jumping off point was of him killing the team. I thought the art was great.

I get the forced aspect. They wanted to get much of the story into minimal issue count. I just thought it was a fresh take on the character and made me feel something over some of the other marvel books lately. Aspects of the comic could be used and make a really meaningful movie.

I won't even go so far as to say that. Origins sucked fiercely and The Wolverine is only slightly better than that IMO. I have yet to see Apocalypse but I still don't think it'll be worse than the next Wolverine movie. There's just no positive track record for the solo Wolverine movies. I don't expect anything different with an OML movie.
