Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

Strike three...turn it over to Marvel :lecture

At this point, I wouldn't care if they took it. I just don't want X-Men linking up with the Avengers. That's pretty much the only reason I would want FOX to keep it. Just keep them separate entities (even though I know the Marvel is a collective universe) Deadpool was a solid entry, not amazing but a step in the right direction. So it's obviously not the company, but the producers and writers... and the pool boy lover.

It must suck reading comics then trying to compare characters / stories to the film version. I don't read them and I enjoyed first two installments XMO and Wolverine just fine. I found them no less entertaining then anything from MCU or DCEU sooooooo I am equally excited for this installment.

Marvel has pretty much said after Infinity Wars, the Avengers story line is finished. I'd be more than happy if the next big story is the X-Men

Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

I'd be ok with that too

Honestly, people are gonna crucify me but... I'd like to see Marvel take the Ultimate Route again. I'm not talking about the ages of the characters, I'm talking about Reed eventually snapping and becoming the Maker. The Maker is one of the best recent villains, and I'd love to see him hit the big screen.

I'm sure Marvel can make it work, but no to the Maker

But why?! The Maker's awesome! And besides, it'd be a great journey of character growth to see Reed go from good man to a **** ala Doctor Manhattan. Then again, they already have the High Evolutionary to fill that trope. It's just that I think that it'd make for a great character arc. After that, I'd like to see the Future Foundation, with or without Spider-Man. Though, with them going young with Parker, it's totally possible to build a bond between him and the F4.

Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

I'd rather see Jackman's Wolverine in Infinity War than another pointless Fox film.

MCU lover.

You really need to work on your insults. :lol

"Shut up, guy who likes awesome things!"

:lol :lol :lol to all this

Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

So Cap 3 was turned into Iron Man 4/Civil War Lite. Tony and Cap are being rumored for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thor's next solo is being hijacked by Banner and will be more Planet Hulk than Ragnarok.

Marvel Studios not only makes inconsequential solo movies - they won't even let the titular characters own their own films.

But this is the studio people think can "fix" the FF and that would make "better" X-Men films. Bull****.

Marvel/Disney only cares about Avengers movies. The X-Men, FF, Wolverine and Deadpool would all just suffer the fate of all the current MCU characters which is one of pointless solo ventures only made as build up to the big team films.

So many invalid points. So many flaws in this post.

As opposed to two mediocre Wolverine movies, three terrible FF films, and the X Men's mess of a timeline/continuity? Yeah, there's no way Disney can ever top that.

Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

-Iron Man 3/TWS/TDW: Why aren't the Avengers helping?!

-CW: Why did the Avengers hi-jack Cap's movie?!

I mean, the MCU is an interconnected world, right? Comic Book characters cross-over all the time. Isn't that the point of a shared universe? Spider-Man appeared in last month's Iron Man and vice versa. Jack Flag was in yesterday's Cap. Captain Marvel ties-in with Ultimates. In August, Iron Man will guest-star in Cap's book. Hell, Doctor Doom is a supporting character in Invinicble Iron Man. Characters crossing over between franchises is the main point...
