And that was just regular New Mexico :rotfl

:lol :lol

Now had this movie really been post apocalyptic I think Mangold would've really destroyed Fury Road.

I don't even think it would've been that much of a stretch because:

A. Last XM movie was called Apocalypse for crying outloud!
B. Magneto caused a ton of destruction and warheads had all been fired!

Good luck explaining all that away in the next XM movie lol

I remember everyone praising Fury Road yet Logan for me was the much better dystopian future movie.

Hell give Mangold Terminator Future War and Mad Max!

Fury Road is a good comparison because it's another character that had a huge presence before the their most recent movie. And they both have extremely simple narratives. But FR focused on the spectacle and Logan focused on the emotional toll. I know TDK technically deals with some stuff that should be emotionally effective but I always feel like Nolan approaches human nature like a math problem.

I love your obsession with Fury Road. It has worked its way into your soul.

I think you shall be renamed... Jye4fury.

I own it but I might just give it away because i'll never watch it again, if I want Max i'll just watch the real deal with MM/RW.

Seriously, who in their right mind would watch immitation Max when you can just throw on the real thing.

Furiosa can stay at her citadel, she bored me lol.

On my third viewing yesterday the kids giving Logan his Wolvie chops definitely took me back to that scene in Thunderdome where the kids cut off Mel's ragged locks.

Favorite moments in no particular order:

-Logan's time driving the limo
-Logan's struggle to stop Xavier's seizure at the hotel
-"So this is what it feels like..."
-Xavier's final speech "This was the most perfect night...and I don't deserve it."
-Laura returns the Reaver's head to Pierce
-Logan encounters X-24 by the stairs
-Caliban's epic exit "Beware the light."
-"Seeing you like this, Wolvie, it breaks my damn heart."
-Logan grabs the cigars at the gas station
-Xavier calms the horses
-"It was either a tiger or Freddy Krueger. But one's fictional and one's extinct."

Some of my favorite scenes

Logan injects himself with the "stuff" and goes crazy
Dinner scene and X23 smiles for the first time
X24 encounters those bad guys
Claw malfunction
Limo escape
X23 walks out like a boss holding...you know what.
Logan taking care of bad guys in hotel
Final scene (X)

Movie has many epic moments.

Caliban actor deserves an oscar, what an incredible performance.

Also X23, amazing for her age.

There wasn't a bad performance in the entire movie!

Even the freaking cholos were great lol.

Stephen Merchant was excellent.

Hopefully Jackman and Stewart land Nominations in January.

Snikt I have no problem admitting that you predicted this one perfectly!

I had very little interest in this movie, it looked slow and boring, trailers did nothing for me other than lol at his jump.

I was in the theater in absolute shock and complete awe.

Definitely not a movie where you'd ever just skip to the action scenes. Many great moments of dialogue, starting with Pierce's first scene in the limo with Logan.

I liked that even though he was a normal human they didn't Mary Sue him up to keep him alive throughout the movie. He couldn't go one on one against a mutant but stayed alive due to confidence, his entourage, and tactics. Made him come across as a genuine badass.

His, "No..no..no!" when X23 was walking towards him was hilarious and delivered perfectly :lol

It's the kind of thing you would say to a an angry dog.

Glad to hear you guys are warming up to Holbrook since he'll be leading The Predator in February.

He's always had tremendous charisma. He's the showstealer in NETFLIX's Narcos.

My wife loved him in Narcos.

So box office mojo is predicting that Logan loses to Kong by only 4 million, wow!

If that's the case that's a huge win for Logan/Fox.

Poor WB, they just can't win. :lol

That Kong vs Godzilla is not guaranteed.
