In other words you give Strange an 8 or 9 out of 10 then? ;)

7.5/10

The visuals are the best part (clearly where all the money went into). The new IMAX laser system made those scenes look really good.

Problem is the tone and the script (Stephen Strange cracking Beyonce jokes while studying ancient spells is incredibly jarring).

Logan looks really good, and I'm super excited to see it.

On the other hand if what others are saying about Dr. Strange is true, that its just more of the same type of cookie cutter MCU movie then I'm not going to be in a rush to see it. I'm actually thinking of taking a 3 to 5 year break on the MCU movies altogether, they are getting really boring and predictable and they are releasing them way too close to eachother.

But is funeeee, don't you know that CBMs are supposed to be super funeee and crack jokes every other sentence? I mean they're funny books for keeeds!

I thought the same was going to happen in The Wolverine.....but nope.

How does one **** up a Wolverine in Japan setting?

Well for starters you film it in Canada. :slap

This looks brutal, in a good way. One man vs an army of mercs. I can't wait to feel the glee when he goes berserker on those pricks.

Unforgiven meets The Road Warrior meets Old Man Logan.

March can't come soon enough.

Didn't show me the whole movie. :gah:

Doctor Strange. There is a flick that doesn't do much for me. Will be seeing it, but...meh.

I agree with you, I don't need a BvS type trailer but the XM universe time jumping has made it hard for them to sell the drama these characters are facing in a simple trailer.

I watched the trailer again and still thought it had a great vibe other than the buzzkill moment of him awkwardly flying on wires like he was in a mid-90's werewolf movie.

They should have filmed him just like McTiernan did the Predator. No goofy wire-work, just trick photography and gruesome slice and dice.

It sold 99% of people who have seen it on the drama.

Again, I'm pretty sure you won't like this movie given that you actually didn't love what's arguably the best trailer since the second The Force Awakens trailer. People cried after this trailer.

Just out of curiosity how would you prefer to see Wolverine's action sequences handled? Would you want anything different than what we've already seen across however movies since X-Men 1?
