I love lost, but that's pretty unoriginal. The BSG one was WAY better and it actually fit the tone of the show.

Of course it's unoriginal...
But BSG wasn't the first to do something like that... :dunno

Those pics just don't scream LOST to me, but they sure scream BSG.

Well, I think it does, considering that Locke sacrificed himself for everyone's sake...

Well, what I meant is the context of it being used was pretty unoriginal. I mean BSG did it for their last season only last year. I know the picture had been obvisously used before, but how they used it......I thought Cuse/Lindelof were more creative than this.

So it appears that Obama's speech won't be pre-empting the premiere event for LOST next month ... whew; there are more important things!!!

:clap :horror :lol

Did anyone else read the interview with one of the Lost where they were talking about what they are going to wrap up for the final season and they blantingly said that they really are only worried about wrapping up characters and not island mythologies.

Not sure how others feel but I could care less about 95% of the characters on this show.

Yeah I read that, basically Darlton said they always knew from the beginning that the story would be complete when the characters stories come full circle and are complete. The mythology of the island were only things that happened to help develop the characters stories. This is what they said in the interview.

I understand their point and realistically there are too many island mythology questions to answer, they will answer some but not all....and to make up for it they can do something more feasible (finishing each characters story).

Thats why I want a behind the scenes book. The original ideas, some island explanations, etc. I think it would be a fascinating read.

So, I've just received news from a source in Hawaii that all episode titles that have been leaked thus far (save only for "LA X") were fictitious. I have a list of the "real" episode titles, but am just waiting to hear back before posting them. Wouldn't want to get anyone in trouble. I will drop this little bit of info.... if these new titles are legit, it seems that one of the biggest mysteries left to address on the show WILL BE. Which is great, as it has dominated a large part of the island mythology and made its way into several characters stories too. Another title seemingly alludes to a oft discussed element of the show that I was certain WOULDN'T be addressed further than it already has been. We will see. I'll post what I know as soon as I get the O.K.

Kinda bummed though, as I LOVED the way the episode titles for Season Six were playing off of Season One....

Disregard... I've been had

Maybe I'm reading too much into it but the wording is interesting. They say Harold Perrinau and Cynthia Watros "character" would be returning. D & C have said in the past that they have asked Cynthia Watros back repeatedly but she always refuses.

With the snafu that was Nikki & Paulo, I doubt they'll try to pull a fast one on the audience ever again.

I think that was just a clumsily written sentence by the reporter. . .perhaps just a bit of journalistic flair.

I have been working my through the "Lost University" courses on the season five Blu-ray, and they are fairly interesting little documentary "lectures"--especially the ones dealing with the physics of time travel, wormholes, alternate/branching universes, etc. It's actually getting my brain prepared for the expected craziness of season six.
