Bought the set today. Nice to see they didn't put each whole movie on one disc instead of still making you change discs half way through.

It's a far walk to the blu-ray player isn't it? :(

Back in the days my DVD player was a carousel so I could switch to the next DVD with the press of a button. Alas, no BluRay players come in carousel types . . .

Who would've predicted that the new BluRay EEs are also a calorie burner!

Yes, thank God they didn't try to compress the crap out of it and squeeze each movie onto a single disc. The artefacts, macro blocking and detail loss would have really sucked.

Indeed.

Besides someone that cant get up half way through a 3-4 hour movie to switch a disc most likely needs to look into getting on a tredmill.

UK get shafted again with no digital copies either :(. So if no one wants theirs I'd love them :)

yeah - why didn't they put all 3 movies on one disc? I don't want to get up just to change movie. Never mind it's supposed to be hd - let's bring back vhs-quality - NOW!

Watching FOTR EE right now. Looks even better than it did on the big screen I think. Just got past the second breakfast scene and the snow looked as white as white can be.

Watched FOTR EE blu last night. looked absolutely stunning on my LED set. Im in love.

I downloaded my digital copy of Fellowship to my iPad but haven't watched it yet. One of these days I'll give the blu rays a try. Good thing I rushed out and bought them. :lol

I've never used digital copies before. If you download those to your computer, can you move them to another computer then? Sorry if this sounds stupid but.....I am! :lol

Its part of your itunes account and you can move those to another computer later if you have to.
