Not at all. I have no horse in this one. I just don't like showboating.

An amazing performance by Carp, overshadowed by a putrid offense.

This almost always happens in the postseason after a team scores runs at will like the Cardinals did in Game 3. It's as if they use up 3-4 games worth of runs & hits at once, and then go cold.

Man, either Carpenter was way jacked up or he's just an a-hole for that jaw-jacking he did to Napoli after walking off the mound at the end of 6th. You'd think a guy who just gave up a tying HR to a guy on his knee with 2 outs and 402ft fly ball for the 3rd out wouldn't hot dog like that.

If any other pitcher on any other team pulled that, we'd be hearing all night and day about how it's "bush league" and not "professional" and yadda yadda yadda from the self-proclaimed keepers of all that is holy in Baseball.
