Many are embarassing themselves over TSA pat-downs

No thanks to the TSA. The few attempts that were made (shoe bomber, underwear bomber) were thwarted due to alert passengers and ineffective explosive devices, nothing to do with the TSA.

Multiple attempts, all of which got through security. Sure, TSA does find stuff that shouldn't go on a plane, but they're going too far now.

A little late to the game, but...I think the scanning is ridiculous. No one has the permission to see me nude unless I give them permission. Except, when I'm going through security at an airport, I now have no right to say that. Screw this. The TSA is power tripping and someone needs to put them back in their place. I saw where they can now fine you up to $11,000 for refusing the scan and/or have you arrested. Really? Someone needs to get rid of these goons. Their methods are neither effective or appropriate. Additionally, 4 out of 5 Americans are said to be okay with the scanners. How disheartening.

Honestly Keith the republicans are the lesser of two evils. Liberals want to steamroll their way into total government control and socialism ( not all liberal voters mind you ) where the republicans are are for smaller government involvement in your life for the most part.

The USA is the country standing in the way of one world government. With our current decline and the dollar to soon totally collapse ( as we print more money to buy our own debt ) you'll see the dollar replaced as the reserve currency and then we are really screwed.

Maybe they like looking at dicks and sniffing assess? All if this started from the douche bag last Christmast that got through and ALMOST blew up another plane. Last I checked the images don't show much detail at all. Just basic outlines.

More importantly why do you think they are doing it? Do you think Obama secretly wants to masturbate to outlined images of his citizens? Seriuosly where is this conversation going? What IS the conspiracy behind this? Maybe the scanners have secret flouridated bugs that get into your skin and record your every movement.

The question isn't whether there are other ways to travel. In some cases, there are (though convincing your boss that you want to extend your business trip so you can drive 2,000 miles is going to be difficult ... even worse if you're going overseas.).

The question is whether (1) the government has the legal right to demand this level of screening before boarding a plane, and (2) even if they have the right, whether they should exercise it. My answers are (1) maybe, and (2) no.
